Gadget said he'd experiment more with it tomorrow.

Bit of a random idea: [b]The Star Gazer[/b]/[b]The Moon Duster[/b] [t]http://puu.sh/fBTrd.png[/t] a sniper with a star gazing telescope instead of a regular scope. Gun itself is based off an M1 Garand, but obviously made into bolt action because of animations. I hope that they come back, a lot of the guns charm came from them.

Well Paysus got this done [B]WAY[/B] faster than I expected, have a WIP video: [video=youtube;_-pEXbpTTYA]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-pEXbpTTYA[/video] Some things to note: -Sounds are SUPER HEAVY WIP. Sound mixing isn't my forte, and there's a lot to be desired with the quality. Doesn't help that the sounds are from an old DOS game, either. -The gun is kinda high up, so you can see the grip and the area below it a little. Noticed this after the video processed, and is already fixed. -The Reload was planned to have a whirring sound effect (like recharging or something), but I don't have anything like that, so the reload may look a bit lackluster. Basically I suck really hard at sound mods. Would anyone want to help?

I want to find something that works better next to the bright metal color. as for the rifle I'm honestly quite happy with it, I don't want the yellow to be threading too far into the cream spirit region (as in player palette) and I really don't see any issue with the wood color. However as the rifle is part of a set it wont be considered final until i've textured the grenade that's going to come along with it.
Allright, i was working on some more fixes and stuff: So, first. Turns out i was using the wrong lightwrap like an idiot, that's why everything looked so sharp and rubbery. And clay'ish. The most generic sniper rifle.(Based on L42A1 sniper rifle) [t]http://i.imgur.com/iUETqVV.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/1RngbGV.jpg[/t] Can anyone tell me how to make the scope have reflections? Like normal sniper rifle does. I tried to do the same what c_sniperrifle_scope.vmt has, but sadly it didn't worked, so is there any other way? I really would like to hear what to improve.
For the scope, try to use cubemaps.
Idea: Large barrel attached to the demo man's back with swaddling clothes, it has its own beanie and eye patch. Call it "Lone Wolf and Drunk" two styles: Brown with XXX on the barrel, and team colored with TNT on the barrel.
