Could it even potentially be a shotgun replacement as well, at the cost of messing up the animation for all the other shotguns?
I dunno, i thought they were finished. It may not look like it from that promo picture (SFM messed up the colors or something, i dunno) but i took people's advice about the brush strokes and stuff, and while you guys may not agree i think it looks good. (Definitally better than the first texture i did) see for yourself [t]http://i.imgur.com/RHzZwKM.jpg[/t]
The entire weapon is too noisy and the textures literally only contain 2 colors, Black and Grey.
i made a concept for you guys
If someone were to actually sit down and make the items, I suggest making it for both Soldier and Heavy, or just Heavy. After all, Heavy is the tallest and the heaviest of the characters, making him the biggest guy. Also to try to seperate it into three items, the jacket, the vest and the mouth cover thing. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Wxvzoba.jpg[/t] If it were for Heavy you could combine it with one the luchador masks and/or the Heavy Lifter to make it more like some of the various comic book iterations the character has had over the years.

I'd make the band around his torso black like his gloves and maybe make the cape itself team spirit

I don't think black would work but a dark red actually kinda looks nicer.
i made a concept for you guys
Why does he wear the mask?
hes a big guy
Maybe for you
Maybe for you
was expanding on the joke part of your plan?
i made a concept for you guys
we need a CIA scout loadout to compliment this extremely painful concept
was expanding on the joke part of your plan?
Gasp! He's figured out my clever plan!
we need a CIA scout loadout to compliment this extremely painful concept
of course!
we need a CIA scout loadout to compliment this extremely painful concept
Well actually
Well actually
Team Fortress: A lot of loyalty for hired guns.
anyone remember that chrome shotgun that was posted some time ago? I haven't been able to find it, even in the last emporium.
Looking for a reply
Those normals could use some re-visiting. And the phong makes it look a bit like latex and not cloth.
We will rework the item. Also SeriousGreg/NoelBlaze, I don't get your point of Dumb/Disagree rating everything I post. Instead of doing that ,just act like InfectedPotato, and give actual feedback that might help us (or in case of concepts, me) to rework the items/concepts.
Well actually
Kinda reminds me of Sonny Bonds from Police Quest [t]http://i1188.photobucket.com/albums/z409/LousyTactician/TTLEIVG/1679953-sonnypq1_large.jpg[/t]

No one has to explain their ratings to anyone here, and complaining about em over and over just makes ya look like a Dingus tbh :T
You didn't readed clearly what I wrote. I did complain the fact that they blind rate, not the fact that they disliked my work (and it's their opinion after all, not going to weep against negative rates) You forgot that the emporium was made to give feedbacks, and by feedbacks, I mean actual ones. (Like the ones Psyke/InfectedPotato gave, or even some other guys for my concepts.)

People can rate without giving a direct feedback response, as the rates themselves can be considered a response. If someone's disagreeing with your stuff then generally it can be assumed they don't like it, and sometimes its up to you to try and guess what you need to work on (helps yah be more self aware of what you're doing that people aren't reacting well too instead of waiting for them to explain why). Tbh you're really quick to defend when you should really invest your time in figuring out what's up and what you need to work on ^-^
It's quite frustrating though when the same few people dumb stamp every single post that they want to, even if the dumbness of the post is about the size of a grain of salt.
Plus the negative ratings are kinda the opposite of purpose for actual ratings. Ratings are good because they let you give an opinion without having to post and make people think a contribution was made to the discussion. It saves Facepunch from having to deal with about 50 "*quotes above posts* i think so too!" posts, which, while usually lacking in malicious or negative intentions, do nothing for the conversation. But rating something "dumb" or that you "disagree" with something would imply you have an opinion that contradicts or otherwise isn't the same as the post you put the rating on. Not only is it a waste of potential discussion, it also hinders the growth of us as humans, because criticisms are how we learn, and you never know, the person that rated your post dumb might actually have had something mentally stimulating to say that would've made us all learn a little about ourselves. That's why they should be removed; whereas positive ratings give an opinion that usually wouldn't be needed in a way that keeps the conversation from stagnating into thousands of people saying "i think the same", the negative ratings turns "give a criticism to somebody and help them improve as a person" into "click on the red x or brown box and make somebody feel stupid, as well as confused because they don't know why they feel stupid, other than because somebody clicked the red x or brown box". Of course actually getting upset if somebody rates your post "dumb" or "disagree", while understandable, does nothing but paint the person in question as unable to accept criticism or disagreement, which in itself is a situation that nobody can win.
I'd say the negative ratings are just as useful, I mean yeah a lot of times they're unspecific and leads you to wonder but honestly so do positive ones, you could be just as confused about what is actually good as what is actually bad, its just easier to think it's all good than to think its all bad, usually it's neither. The way I see it, if people rate something either way without anyone pointing out what the good or bad thing is, you can just assume it's not that big of a deal.

Agree implies that they agree with your opinion or they're saying yes to the question you're asking, funny is obvious, winner is a congratulatory rating for a "job well done", et al. Whereas it's either "disagree" or "dumb", and they're so vague and used so widely that it's just as feasible somebody rated your post "disagree" because they thought it was dumb and vice versa. An interesting one is late. It's neither positive nor negative, it's just kinda stating something, which I think is helpful.
I suppose you're right, and there were some other negative rating earlier but I think those got swapped out for the sake of keeping a more positive tone in the forums
Looking for a reply
I found it, however, there is no mod for it. Sorry mate
Does anyone know where I can find that picture which shows the colour pallet of each class
