Wouldn't it make more sense with all these fancy guns to have a nice knife or an enforcement baton instead?
I remember that old automatic guns could have their barrels replaced in the field when they overheat. I'd imagine a spare barrel would look cool as a melee.

Wouldn't it make more sense with all these fancy guns to have a nice knife or an enforcement baton instead?[/QUOTE] combat knives are done to death and batons are boring, plus i got the feeling this guy would be the kind of guy who would pummel people to death with a random blunt object, but a tire iron didn't look interesting enough, and my thinking with this pipe would be that the lever would be rigged to the moving part of his folding shovel, and flip down as he pulls it out also meeles are more or less pointless so didn't really prioritize it, as you can tell by the semi crummy drawing of it
