I'm getting rather bored with my Terror-Watt Private Eye, as well as annoyed at it crashing my game at random. What would be a good price to sell it for?
Also a Backpack Broiler #6 seems like a low enough craft to sell for a decent amount, right? Not sure what to sell that for.
$100 for a Miami Lights Raincatcher? I think that's about 2.5 buds worth normally and everyone wants 3+? got it on hold until monday but wondering if it's worth it.

I'd say you could probably shoot for at least 2, it ain't #1 but it's a higher tier misc. The #2 Graybanns (which are pretty much around the same tier, so comparable price) have received offers including a blizzardy party phantom, which is over 2, and a roboactive timeless topper, which has sold for 4 in the past.

I'm getting bored with the Unusual Le Party Phantom (Orbiting Planets) and I've been gone putting it up on TF2 Outpost and have been asking to trade it in on unusual trade servers but no one wants it. I'm accepting keys.

I had this feeling the moment I woke up and played again.
But looking back at it, I now have my new favorite unusual, even if it isn't a costly one. I'm happier about it in the long run.
Might be best to sell the Private Eye for pure in that case. Or perhaps a few more lower tier hats instead.

I have an unusual but it sucks, and I had a better one a while ago that for some reason I downgraded. the deal was good but the stuff i got in it is like, gone now. and i don't really have that much to show for it so my conclusion is i'm really bad

Easy way to do it, cross check everything. Like if you have an unusual that has an offer of another unusual you're interested in, you can check the price of it with multiple sites, ranging from Outpost B/O's and offers, Backpack.tf (hey, it helps a bit), and a few forums where they help people pricecheck their unusuals. That will at least let you know if you're getting a fair or semi fair deal.

It takes ridiculous amounts of time and some luck for finding good deals.
also jealous and annoying seeing people who ONLY trade, never play TF2 itself to make profit instead of working. Obviously that's their choice of income but its annoying when they have these high-tier hats and the cost is so insanely out of whack. :<

I got this hat just for the sake of it being a purple effect and being Jimi Hendrix' haircut thus referring to the song "Purple Haze". I wouldn't be suprised if he wants it for the same reason.
