They changed the Equip Regions to Lucky_Shot and Soldiers_Stash (Or something like that) meaning they have different equip regions from other hats. Using the Ethernet cable trick or +quickswitch trick, you can basically equip them on any other hat because they don't have the same equip region as anything, making the Soldier's Stash and the Lucky Shot miscs. So basically, you can have 3 effects on soldier without having a viewfinder And by miscs, I mean that they're "miscs", They are considered hats and you can't wear them by normal means, so it's the same as being able to wear 3 effects before hats and miscs were the same slot.

All the patch did was remove things using the same equip region, and some hats that are unique (such as bird heads) don't use the "hat" equip region but still block out hats. Since they do not share the same equip region, you can still ethernet trick on a hat to go with your owl head sniper (croc hat all the way).

Hello there. My friend asked me to help him with selling his Sunbeams Veil. Since I've never owned something that valuable I'd like to ask you guys. He wants cash for it. So, what forums should we try and is it better to sell for buds and then for money or sell the unusual for money straight? Thank you for your help!

I'd use Outpost since SourceOP deleted their TF2 sections. And Buds are better since you'll end up with multiple items that can and should be sold to different people. That means that if you get scammed you'll only lose a small portion of the Veil's total worth which is especially important for such a high value item. They're also easier to sell since they're considered to be currency items and there's a much large number of people who will be interested in them.
