It's a hard decision. Cancer soldier (most popular class) hat with a high tier effect vs a good spy(one of the least popular classes) hat with a high tier halloween effect. I would keep the pith but I am not an tf2 economist.

I unboxed a Sultan's Ceremonial with Orbiting Planets a few months ago and I'm thinking about trading it for buds and selling the buds on marketplace to avoid my fear of Paypal, but I can't find any trades involving it.

generally, look on places like TF2Outpost, see people selling the same type of hat, and get a rough estimate of its value. Just doint use backpack.tf, the prices of unusuals on there generally are either outdated, manipulated or for 5% of them, slightly accurate. Though it is hard when you own the only one on the market, like my TF Logo Trpohy Belt was.
Example: backpack.tf thinks it's only worth 1 Bud / 27 keys, Yet I sold mine today for 1 Bud 20 keys, 80% more then they think it's worth.
With yours, looking on Outpost, most are getting offers around the 20 key mark, as it's the 2nd worst effect "tier wise" on a hat that isn't popular.

Yeah, not bad. N&B is always a tricky resell but if you want it for yourself it's not a bad deal or anything. The reggae is one of the better demo hats

They're all getting turbo-duped, causing their value to crash. Vintage Max went from 50 buds to 15 buds in 2 months. Same for V. Big kill, medal, Sparkle Luger, etc.
It's also more likely than not that you'd get your account locked for purchasing any of them.

I remember how the first vintage sam and max set sold for over 80 buds or something and the max head alone sold later for 58 buds. Fucking russians. Fucking greed. TF2 economy is no different than the real world one.

Sold my unusual for four keys, a TS bills, TS veil, TS fast learner, stranges of the amby, knife, wrench, loch, and frontier, a tour of duty ticket, and 1.88 ref. I think I did pretty well.
