[unusual floating gibus effect][/QUOTE] I feel like having a hat as an unusual effect is very strange, especially considering the size itself is pretty large, compared to most unusual effects. It might be better to have a drastically scaled-down version of the effect, on-top of a ghost, if you're really determined on making it. The gibus looks really good, and it'd be a shame to scrap it, but it just seems very odd. Those ghosts alone, and the purple aura are pretty cool, though. Perhaps you could work off of that instead, and throw in some bats fading in small, growing and fading out?

Out of the subject, but money whise, people tend to favorite first gens effect, or at least first gen reskins. Last year effects didn't bring as much as, obviousely, 2012 ones (amount of player| sales % whise). But as well, they're some exceptions to the rule(That's why I'm not going to release a tons of reskins, I'm working on different effects/shapes.).

What you did is lazier than taking the Fancy Fedora, readjusting it to fit the Heavy, and give it a retexture. Do you know what happened to the person who did this? They took away their revenue for the item. I would suggest trying a little harder, at least making your own assets.

I will rework it probably. The only asset that was created is the moon. (The rest is smoke and glow)

Someone noticed the meshes were identical after it was added and told Valve. I am pretty sure it caused the revenue to be revoked from the contributor.

Would a public domain picture work? (As well some changes on the whole effect shape/animation)

People make mistakes, but I mean instead of letting those hold them down, they can try and make up for the rather unfortunate experience by attempting to create quality work and learn from there mistakes. A mistake was made and a consequence was applied. I mean funny part is alot of people do it but just hide it really well lol.
