This thing is [U]far from finished[/U]. but I felt like posting the WIP.
Zepheniah ghost as pattern with "YIKES!" icons as easter egg.
I'll either re-work the patterns or scrap it because I have the feeling that from a distance it looks like white bananas.

Hearthstone joke. Those shoulder-pads are the same that Garrosh wears in World of Warcraft, who happens to be a playable character in Hearthstone. A popular deck that Garrosh runs is called "Patron Warrior", with an example below. It's not a fun deck to play against.

it Sure looks good for first attempt, i saw you based it on the wheel of fate on lakeside_event. Though the green is a bit less intense at the wheel.
I like it though, but this is just a little question. Did you partially base it off the timewarp or GBH effects?

Yeah I used timewarp as a base for it, So it does maybe resemble it a bit much, It was originally supposed to have merasmuses skull floating in the middle of the vortex but I couldn't find out how to rise the skull and effect above the head. It would look kinda weird if the skull was inside the head of the player.

what if you'd let several smaller mesasmus skulls go into all kinds of directions from the middle to the outisde? Kind of like a blackhole in reverse maybe? (english isnt my native tongue so sorry if it sounds too confusing).

I like the idea but what if it was the other way around and it was actually lots of merasmus skulls getting sucked in? I don't know how to do that yet though but it's a good idea!

The getting sucked in idea could work as concept. Seeing with Merasmus events the players would be dragged into a green sort of black hole to go to skull island etc. I'd say give that a try. Maybe have the merasmus skulls slightly rotate as they get sucked in for a most realistic effect? I'd say give it a shot and post that.

I will continue to mess around and see what I can learn. For now I only know the basics like rotation animation, color and different particles changes.
