Heeey, that's actually quite promising. I'd change the colour to something more team neutral like purple/green/orange/whatever (unless you're planning on doing both BLU & RED, and that's the BLU you're showing us).

The sparkles are fine, but they're very small for the detail of the sparkle. I'd size those up a little, maybe drop the number slightly if they seem too much when sized up. Or keep them that size, but change the sprite to something simple like a bokeh circle instead of the sparkle.

But I like it. It's turning out nice.

It's a Pilgrim/Monster Hunter Medic - loosely based on the ancestral Schattenjager from the first Gabriel Knight game. The medallion itself is taken from the game, so a redesign is probably in order on that one.

I would say, take the idea but apply it to other weapons. For example:

The sniper rifle remade in bones.

Try drawing another weapon, made in bones instead (like the example sniper rifle).

Off the top of my head - you could have a Rib replacement for the spy's knife, but sharpened to a point or a collar bone revolver, femur bat, hip bone targe/shield etc. There's a lot of potential. If you go down the Spine + skull melee path - it'll just end up looking like the Bat outta hell.

If someone could go about designing this type of jacket for scout, I think it is doable, considering we have the flapjack and whatnot.. but It can be team color, and can also work if you want a Michael Jackson themed set I think.
