the shoulder pads are great as they are, but if you ran short because of the breastplate i'd say remove it altogether. it ads absolutely nothing to the overall concept and you're better focusing it all on the shoulders.

The effect seems to just cut out at the end. Is that intentional? Shouldn't it fade out as it did in?

Considering the lack of restrictions this year, I'd love to see it accepted but I have my doubts.

It fades out gently just like it faded in. That's just a bi-product of SFM sadly--my friend's gonna attempt to record a gif of it since whenever I load up GifCam the particles glitch out.

Square chain links probably would look good with the design and would reduce the number of tris used by the chains in half.
We're all cutting it down to the wire, aren't we? :P

I didn't finish the mantle I had planned for this, but there are some really great mantles & cloaks for sniper in the workshop already for Halloween so it's no big deal.

you sure that hat isnt too similar to the one in game? i thought it was that hat at first glance and held that belief until i actually clicked through
both are kabuto war masks/helmets, and as such both share the same traits. other than that, they're far, far from being "similar".

About the helmet: I suggest to raise it so the Soldier's eyes would be seen. It will help this item to:
1) look less like Killer's Kabuto;
2) make the skull-mask item more visible;
3) resemble the real-life Kabutos which do not cover the wearers' eyes.
i'm worried people are raising a concern over the killer kabuto, when, if anything one should note that this looks way better than it and follows a completelly different desing and a concern should be raised over the arm guards (but that is covered since its basically a pair of them unlike the shogun's guards)
the killer's kabuto is a great hat, but is really plain and outdated by today's standards and this impoves over it on several fronts, let alone being a much more devious aesthetic that fits halloween perfectly fine.

Try exiting TF2 and reimport all your files in a brand new submission

It includes familiar horrors from previous years, such as HHH, ghosts, pumpkins, spells, monoculus and introduces payload as a gamemode for halloween for the first time. Pushing payload cart with a ghost in it to hell is todays task.
