Yeah, the chains eat up a lot.

Also, all those hex bolts aren't helping much when they could be textured on instead, and same thing with the wire caging on the lights. Probably also didn't need a second headband, which being curved is a lot of tris - and the bands definitely didn't need even more hex bolts attaching them to the mask. And the two big curved raised sections on the "mouth" of the mask maybe weren't necessary.

That said, I'd love to see a Version 2 at some point!

I kinda expect the actual deadline to be "Monday morning when that guy on the tf2 team pulls a list of all Halloween items to decide which ones are accepted" and they said the 17th to accommodate all time zones and procrastinators.

Especially when considering the proposed taunt kill idea alongside it. No good in a voodoo doll that'll only do that to engineers.

Updates on the webpage!

We are working constantly on it to make sure things look as good as they can - but we're almost certain Community Halloween Events are cursed. Computer crashes, program expirations, health problems, and dangerously severe weather has all come our way while working. Hopefully we can have everything up before Valve has theirs up.

Usually sometime during the last week of october and runs until sometime in the 2nd week of november. Like last year it ended on November 11th I believe.

This would be better off moved over to the general chat where people would actually be more willing to answer that question and to give you advice. But frankly I'd say it's up to you. Random assholes on the internet shouldn't dictate what you do with your items.

Maybe that's why you're getting dumb ratings, just an idea.

To be actually on topic, seeing as the deadline to submit general Halloween items to the workshop has now basically passed (at least over here), hopefully a bunch of items from the Workshop of Horrors showcase are selected for the update! Everybody's done a great job.

Good luck everyone. It was fun participating, despite not getting my submission finished (I need to seriously study phong / spec maps). Even though I feel kinda left out, hope you all get your submissions on the website and I hope Valve adds a lot of items this year.
