MvM Discussion Megathread: Do Androids Complain of Overpowered Upgrades? - Games

Honestly, the influx of bad players is just horrific. Tomislavs, Quickfix Medics, Scorch Shot Pyros (as in, never using flamethrower, not even on tanks), Demoknights... and my personal favourite. A battle medic that only used the Ubersaw. Against a giant pyro. Honestly, I just want to finish my 5th tour of expert, but the current influx of players is just horrifically bad.

Gray Mann would be ecstatic at this influx of shitty players. :v:

Mad Milk syringes? Über? Canteens? Pfff, melee was his stuff! And I can't remember really well, but I don't think it even was the Übersaw.

I mean, I got Coaltown done easily enough, had the luck to run into some Goons that were doing it, the lowest of which had 19 tours. I'll go it alone for a few more tries, but I'll let you know if I need help/someone that can understand the English language and doesn't wear a Gibus.

Sometimes the damn things overseas run so badly, I suspect they're converted arcade machines that used to run Donkey Kong.

Just finished one Operation Oil Spill I know it's easy and could've done the harder ones but ehh. Can't do shit with 200+ ping, and people who I play with are less experienced than me.

Your team will love you a lot for doing that for sure :v:

So if you keep letting black box soldiers hit you by not keeping your distance, staying behind the medic shield, or using uber canteens... then you're helping the enemy black box soldier heal himself back to full health and reverting all the effort you've put into dealing damage to him.

Ah, so it is a bad idea. I was wondering if there was something I didn't know about him hurting himself more with his own rockets or something similar.

These new players are bugging the shit out of me. Part of the issue is they don't listen and have never done bootcamp so they don't know how to play. Yesterday I joined a game on Mannhattan and the team had 2 engineers. It was wave 1 and I looked at their upgrades. They had gotten mini-sentries and upgraded their shotguns. Both of them build their mini-sentries up front. One put their normal sentry at spawn. The other put it at B. When I told them to move up they said they were defending. I had to stay for the round or it'd count as an abandonment so I stuck through wave 1. The heavy had upgraded his sandvich and the medic didn't have the projectile shield. It was bad.

But if you stand still, yeah, you're dead (and he very much alive).

I guess i reap what i sow, i tried to go sniper on two cities, was greeted with 5 tourless players telling me to change. when i told them i think i'll be fine (14 tours) they said i'm just a stubborn bad player and votekicked me it's a little ironic and [sp]hurt my feelings[/sp]
