For my first ever tour I got a gold botkiller scattergun. For my second ever tour, I got an australium medi gun. I may be the luckiest MvM player ever.
mecha is in a state of decay. you see, oilspill and steeltrap are doable with randoms because they are relatively easy expert is still fairly popular because its the hardest 2city is very popular because its still the newest and it has good loot but mecha? completely unplayable. too hard for randoms. idiots cant beat it, idiots leave, idiots use stupid tactics, idiots get rolled. and PROS! refuse to play it because it's a waste of time due to 2city. RIP mecha.

rolling for an australium should happen on every fucking mann-up mission
rolling for an australium should happen on every fucking mann-up mission
or at least the robo-parts...
[t]http://puu.sh/6a3ph.jpg[/t] probably the funnest randoms i've ever met the scout randomly typed "horse smut" every few minutes, the soldier changed his name to something about dicks every mission, Leon kept smacking people with an australium wrench and heavy kept making creepy grins at everyone

I hate it when people rage quite decent teams because we have difficulty in a wave once or twice.

People are so stupid in that operation it's painful.

Yay for getting that T-1000000 achievement.
Look at this shit How bad can you get. He was there the whole time too. http://imgur.com/OjwGx0F also look at this shit (same stuff just MvM, tags weren't working though)
0tour, relax.
Well there is a second demoman with 0 tours who has done thrice as much damage.
Well there is a second demoman with 0 tours who has done thrice as much damage.
Not to mention that demoman joined halfway in, as opposed to the one who has 22k damage being there the whole time.
Well there is a second demoman with 0 tours who has done thrice as much damage.
Only on that tour, but he might actually have a lot more completions under his belt on other tours and knows what he is doing unlike that not as good demo.
if you expect everyone to do their maximum good then you're in for a fucking ride
if you expect everyone to do their maximum good then you're in for a fucking ride
I think they're expecting that the demo doesn't deal twenty five thousand damage during 6 rounds on rottenburg The goddamn demo
I think they're expecting that the demo doesn't deal twenty five thousand damage during 6 rounds on rottenburg The goddamn demo
are you sure the other demoman wasnt just quicker on the draw and killing everything before he could? anyway regardless this demo shouldve probably gone engineer so the team at least had a dispenser. i would rather a support class somewhere in the mix on my team other than a medic, personally
I'm curious to hear your guys' thoughts on this. I've been playing a fair bit of engineer in MVM, and have as of late been upgrading my shotgun. Yes, my shotgun. I've noticed that with maxed reload and firing speed (which costs 1250 credits) is on par damage-wise to my sentry gun, giving me twice the damage output. Compare that to maxed out sentry firing speed, which costs 1050 credits and gives me only +30% DPS. Another unconventional thing I do is put my sentry gun a little further back, such as in the tunnel in rottenburg or at the top of the first small ramp in mannhattan. This makes my sentry gun a body-blocker for super scouts, and a backup in case the team starts to become overwhelmed. It also eliminates the liability of sentry busters since they only appear after your sentry reaches a certain damage threshold. I've gotten flak on it once or twice, but they shut up pretty quickly when they see i have almost 30 tours and i explain the reasoning behind my logic. I would like to hear your thoughts on this though, and if you guys have any other non-conventional play styles that work out okay.
sentry is a big damage contributor if you see almost no busters then your team faces more threat than they should if you want to contribute decent firearm support you can just use the frontierjustice. even with no upgrades you get 35 crits for every wave.

You can get 2 mini sentries while you're at it. Me and my friends do it quite often and it works out just fine.
I used to set my Sentry Gun back the front lines in Expert tours, as a last resource so it didn't attract many Sentry Busters and they wouldn't distract them from giants. Through my almost nine tours on TwoCities tho, I've always put all my buildings at the front lines, except from Teleporters, and it has been working pretty darn well, both for me and my team. You have plenty of time for moving up your Sentry and place it right in the middle of a Giant Super Scout's path or any bots that you want to bodyblock. At the front lines, your Sentry are gonna rack more kills, obviously, which at the end of the day it's a double-effect benefit for your team because: first, they don't have to deal with minor robots and second, Sentry Busters are walking goldmines (your Medic can easily ubersaw it four times for free ubers, your Heavy and Soldier can charge their respective rages, and so on). Your tactic isn't a bad one but it's simply unecessary.
Eh, I just remembered how I wanted for the Smissmas Update to have at least a new tour... Seriously, why didn't they just hold the 2cities update until Christmas and released it, just like the Mecha Update? I wouldn't even ask for a free ticket, because the update itself would be worth it. If it also had a comic it would be perfect...
i want more stuff on bigrock best map design and gameplay hands down making new tours on old maps shouldn't take that long...
I'd like if the next tour included all the previous maps, 1 mission on each would give a pretty well-rounded mix. Add some new (exclusive) Australiums (and maybe killstreak kits) for rewards and people would have a reason to go back to Bigrock.
I've gotta start joining games more on Mann Up. The one guy who actually invited me into games has practically stopped by this point and I've really wanted to play recently. (Not right now though because I just got done :v:)
i want more stuff on bigrock best map design and gameplay hands down making new tours on old maps shouldn't take that long...
I... I actually dislike Bigrock. I don't know if it is biased because of all the bad experiences with bad teams that I had (I'm a bad player too, but can still do a decent job sometimes), but it is my least favorite map. It seems that they added some fences just so people should buy jump upgrades. I thought that big maps were the problem, but since they released the Two Cities, I saw that it is possible to make big maps while maintaning a good design that makes sense with higher grounds and props that don't have the feeling that they've put it somewhere randomly. Decoy is still my favorite, tho.
mannhattan feels alot more random than bigrock. a camper van and a grinder in a warehouse? right. decoy is a mess for money.
