you know when a buster instantly dissapears instead of blowing up that is the best bug in the game.
you know when a buster instantly dissapears instead of blowing up that is the best bug in the game.
It happens so often I'm not sure whether it's a bug or an intended feature that's broken.
It happens so often I'm not sure whether it's a bug or an intended feature that's broken.
it should be an official thing taking care of a buster needs considerable effort especially when there are other robots to kill nobody ever asked the buster to do friendlyfire. go away valve.
you know when a buster instantly dissapears instead of blowing up that is the best bug in the game.
Its not a bug at all, Its just the buster's gib that doesnt have any type of animation or body parts.
So what I said then?
Its not a bug at all, Its just the buster's gib that doesnt have any type of animation or body parts.
Wrong. It is a bug, it's not supposed to drop gibs because it's supposed to explode. It doesn't always [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/469794651249905829/4ED5607142819F6DB04A60A4AA0D3A95C445D20F/[/t]
energy kills on giants seem to bug 99% of the time and drop a ragdoll since 2city [thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/giantdoll.jpg[/thumb] small heads and all
So robot shogun heavies will ignore everyone else to kill the medic if they spot him
So robot shogun heavies will ignore everyone else to kill the medic if they spot him

I presume that's a common trait for bots. Like, they'd ignore a disguised Spy until he backstabs someone.
it's like the AI knows how to play the game they were designed for!
Wrong. It is a bug, it's not supposed to drop gibs because it's supposed to explode. It doesn't always [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/469794651249905829/4ED5607142819F6DB04A60A4AA0D3A95C445D20F/[/t]
Link to those kill-icons?
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1520 It's somewhat out of date - you'll probably need to fiddle with mod_texture.txt to get it to work.

Resistances are criminally underrated in MvM, they'll save your skin in so many occasions. Biggest example for me was pre-nerf Empire Escalation. On Wave 4 as Engi I balanced out between resists and sentry upgrades since I found myself dying tons. During my winning attempt I only died once and I was able to tend my buildings thanks to the resists. Only problem is when you're smacked by a crit rocket you tend to be sent flying into the skybox, so making your way back to the front can be annoying. Still, resists are awesome.
I wish I had friends who actually Manned Up. I'm stuck with pubs, and while I can deal with the idiocy (most of the time), I wish I could actually, y'know, play around with different classes and experiment with different weapons instead of the standard Engineer-Scout-Heavy-Demo-Soldier-Medic core shit gets boring
You can always join Boot Camp and play Sniper-Sniper-Sniper-Spy-Sniper-Tomislav Heavy
correction I'd like to have fun while I play with non-core sets
Made a killicon for the medic shield. Looks kind of boring I think, not sure what else to add
Made a killicon for the medic shield. Looks kind of boring I think, not sure what else to add
It looks fine like that. Kill-icons are supposed to be obvious as to what they are and simple/subtle, it does that fine.
could valve please fuck-off with all those sandman scouts? minor league, major league, hyper league, jumping, giant major league, giant armored, giant jumping stuns are shit. get it through your skull. give them a sun-stick with +300% damage instead
Made a killicon for the medic shield. Looks kind of boring I think, not sure what else to add
Oh my, it's beautiful! I always thought that killicons should be more similar to what the weapons are, but then it would be... a square. So yeah, this is perfect.
Still unsure if I like how it turned out. I'd like to somehow use the horizontal space more efficiently Changed the electricity to stars. Think it's kind of unfitting though.
Older version was better
Hmm, in that case.. Made the electricity bigger.
If anything I would suggest to make an effect like the Pomson/CM5000/Bison laser effect from these improved killicons, with a short laser coming off from the shield to each side.
Hmm, in that case.. Made the electricity bigger.
it's fine as it is. although since mercs are always red in mvm you might aswell make the electricity red/orange.
it's fine as it is. although since mercs are always red in mvm you might aswell make the electricity red/orange.
It's barely noticeable that way
