• MvM Discussion Megathread: Do Androids Complain of Overpowered Upgrades?

I got a Killstreak Big Kill kit on my second tour, and it makes me really sad because I can either sell it for, like, 20 cents on the market, or wait several months for an opportunity to get a Big Kill but never actually receive one. It's sad, too, because they easily sell for $40 on the market once you actually apply killstreaks. On the same day, I had an encounter with a tryhard who kept trying to give me shit after he explicitly asked for me to switch to Heavy on a team that already had one, and then bragged that he did more damage than me, even though I had only joined on the second-to-last wave. Anyway, I've got a question. What do you guys think are the most useful upgrades for the Scattergun? After I upgrade all my resistances and my milk, I usually go for reload speed first.

I'm starting to see some Soldiers using Liberty Launcher with the usual excuse "I can upgrade Damage for it". Even though the Liberty Launcher with max Damage upgrade can only deal about as much damage as any other Rocket Launcher with +50% Damage upgrade. Trading $800 for that +40% Projectile Speed is totally worth it :v:
You're missing the minus 25% blast damage from rocketjumping, the very core of said weapon :v:
You can always get Blast resist for that if you rocketjump a lot to the point of needing it.
You can always get Blast resist for that if you rocketjump a lot to the point of needing it.
't was a joke.
Why can't I realize it was a joke dammit :v: MVM is getting in to me. Time to take a break from it.

Internet was slow like a sloth so emoticons didn't load up properly
A map where the robots invade from two different directions would be interesting, as in the two spawn points are on opposite sides of the map.
The hatch could be in a tall building in the middle of the map, whilst Robots attack from all sides
The hatch could be in a tall building in the middle of the map, whilst Robots attack from all sides
how about they attack from 2 opposite corners, and you have to strategize with your team like having 3 on each side or all piling in the middle, etc
how about they attack from 2 opposite corners, and you have to strategize with your team like having 3 on each side or all piling in the middle, etc
It would certainly give two way teleporters a use. Like you could have someone move from side to side based on need.
After reading a thread in Steam hub and testing it out, it seems Valve made a stealth change to the Sydney Sleeper. Now EH on Sydney only applies if your shot is half-charged (aka when you can fire the jarate shot) :v: But I kinda remember it always work this way though, hope I'm wrong.
I got used to the delay back in bigrock so I can safely assure you it's always worked that way
[thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/mvm/powbot.jpg[/thumb] there's something magical about a 5-ton mechanical war machine exploding to a childish imaginary bullet
Heavy is using the Force.
well in pvp you can just assume the enemies are playing along and feigning dead when they get shot by it but robots? showdown confirmed non-canon
well considering most taunt-kills don't work against non-robot bosses, it could be that the robots were accidentally programmed too much like the mercs in which they also play dead.
what do you mean? they all work
what do you mean? they all work
all i know is caber
I got Ullapooled by 2 engineers yesterday while playing MvM. I really wish Valve would fix the Sentry Busters.

Well it turns out that when the huntsman snipers taunt, they are actually doing the huntsman's kill taunt. [T]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/486690972751094144/50DB5A689B057E1C3D61ECF7146C27DA94918C33/[/T]
Pretty much all bots are like that, as the animations may be different but their taunts are still the taunt kills if the weapon they use have one.
Better thing is that they made the demoknights have a new especific taunt for them that cover the normal tauntkill. Why? :(
Pretty much all bots are like that, as the animations may be different but their taunts are still the taunt kills if the weapon they use have one.
Not only that but they can aim their taunt anytime, not only when they start to taunt. Meaning if you're in range when they taunt they will taunt kill you.
[thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/mvm/engiairblast.jpg[/thumb] this is the result of an engibot airblast i'm glad i got the screenshot so i can shove it in valve's face later on
Meanwhile at Valve, not a long time ago... "Wow, that Hell-met guy already sent his thirteenth email about the Engy-bot push. What do we do?" "Shove that shit on every robots' heads!!" "...Magnificent."
Don't you mean "on every robots' and players' heads!" :v:
A hacking sniper joined our party and things got piss easy I mean, christ I really don't like hackers but god damn that was great I feel dirty eugh
