You might as well not play scout then, if spy can buy bigger collector radius.
You might as well not play scout then, if spy can buy bigger collector radius.
milk and fan Also, i'm 80 tours into MvM in general and only recently i discovered the secret to helping a rage heavy if you go FaN scout or any class that can knock robots into the air, raging an airborne giant makes them go flying i knew you could send them flying, but it never really clicked how easy other classes could make it happen
I got three different killstreak fabricators from finishing the last mission I had in Two Cities. One was a regular killstreak Nessie's Nine Iron, a specialized gloves of running urgently, and a specialized diamond back. The Nessie's Nine Iron can sell for around a dollar and the two specialized ones sell for 3 cents, what's the deal? Is NNI rare to get or something?

Kit fabricators require the user to create the kit itself, and thus are very low value until they're ready-to-use.
God, after like 2 Hours trying to do the Last Mission, I finally joined one on Wave 6/6. What did I got? A Professional Killstreak Huntsman. Thank you, at least I can get a cheap Australium with it.
Had a guy crash/leave on wave 6/6 a few days ago. Some other guy joins. Final wave, A+, we win and he gets an australium blackbox :suicide:
/rant ugh if I get matched into another server high ping with 0 tour players I'm going to blow my brains out :suicide:
[thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/lolscout.jpg[/thumb] durp
[thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/mvm/degree2.jpg[/thumb] turns out I was wrong about the degree, there is no limit. it also turns out medbots overheal everyone they can in their squad for as long as they are in contact with a spawnroom (bot spawn in this case) so they did have 195+ in that old pic, I guess
Well this was a thing that happened... [t]http://i.imgur.com/tfKzhBN.jpg[/t] ^click it There was a Gate Crasher Giant Shotgun Heavy who was capping point a, then when it was halfway capped walked off and went straight for the bomb hatch, dispite not having any bomb to unload. He then just sat there and looked around. We let him sit there for a while until we knew we had to kill him to let the wave progress.
[thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/mvm/bogib.jpg[/thumb] late discovery charged shot gibs commons. even the apoco-fists can't do it
[t]http://puu.sh/7sc71.jpg[/t] mvm servers currently fucked, wave 0 and noclip
its not noclip, its just the map is desync'ed with the server bsp terrain is "there" but the props are ghost used to happen alot in HL2DM
I remember Giant Deflector Heavy used to have the same badass firing sound like the Giant Heavy. Unfortunately, they broke the "Deflector" weapon so it just sounds like your average Minigun. Guess I should give Eric a shot about this.
you should tell them to fix the giant class stepsounds too and the giant flamethrower, grenadelauncher, and libertylauncher/blackbox no wait don't, they're going to break everything
you should tell them to fix the giant class stepsounds too and the giant flamethrower, grenadelauncher, and libertylauncher/blackbox no wait don't, they're going to break everything
Well they seem to be getting there on their own so we might as well give them that extra push.
how long is making a new tour on old maps supposed to be jesus fuck they are wasting so much [sp]potential[/sp] money
how long is making a new tour on old maps supposed to be jesus fuck they are wasting so much [sp]potential[/sp] money
I seem to remember there was a very easy to use web page that let you select bots, their cosmetics, weapons, modifiers like size and weapons stats, time they spawn in a wave etc and it spat out exactly what needed to be pasted into the .txt file that's needed to have a custom wave.
shouldn't be long but I guess we're gonna play 2city for as long as we played bigrock
how long is making a new tour on old maps supposed to be jesus fuck they are wasting so much [sp]potential[/sp] money
I think the real challenge would be coming up with new Mann Up rewards for the tours. Making new missions is easy enough, yeah, but the reason the Two Cities rewards are so fantastic is because they're always worth something. Since there's a specific kit for every single weapon, and each tier of kit adds another unique trait that's chosen at random, there's such a huge variety of possible rewards. Since you have to track down a separate item for every weapon you want killstreakified (even more so if you want a certain sheen/eye effect), there's always a demand for them, unlike the hundreds of identical botkillers that are piling up in the market. Even the crap kits that no one wants still have a use as crafting fodder because of the fabricator system, which also helps to burn through the extra kits instead of letting them pile up like the botkillers. The Australiums are rare enough that they're still worth something after 4 months, instead of sitting forever at the bottom of the $5 bargain pile like so many of the gold and diamond "rare" items. And best of all, since the items are actually worth something, people can complete tours and then sell their loot on the market for a profit, profit which they can use to buy even more tickets, which they can use to get more loot, etc., with Valve getting money from it the whole time. Valve really struck gold with the Two Cities rewards... ..but what could they possibly do for new tours? Slap together some new eye particles or new sheen colors, make some more gaudy reskins of stock weapons like silver or solid diamond or something, and call it a tour? I mean, short of creating an entirely new rewards scheme like Two Cities did, but as much as we'd like them to come out with some new missions every few months or so, it just wouldn't be plausible for them to make a totally new mechanic for a reward every single time.
They could make tour-related rewards Get a unique robosandwich after 50 tours a robot voice item (they're almost all converted) at 100 unlock a mvm-restricted item that turns you into a robot template for 1 game (but you can't buy anything at the shop) at 150 tour get 10 squad surpluses + a special badge at 200 tons of potential outside of boring reskins
and even then there is plenty of weapons that could be aus'd. Where is my aus bazaar, valve?
australium shotgun would be pretty cool I think
I suppose Valve could add different sheens colors/particle effects to new waves + a different wave of Aussie weapons for new missions, but yeah, that's boring. Valve kinda dug themselves into a hole when it comes to creating new weapons, since everyone would be in an uproar/not play a new mission if it didn't have Two Cities-tier awards
What is up with the mann up servers. Last week or so, there were nearby servers up the ass. Now its gone back to the constant 0 nearby servers shit
Took about 2 hours to complete this mission until the terrible people left. [t]http://puu.sh/7tlES.jpg[/t] Worth it.

how much time and money do you people even have
how much time and money do you people even have
At a point and with luck it can become a self sustaining habit. Sell the right professional kit and you can buy more tickets. To get more drops. To get more tickets.
