you basically said "new concheror opens up possibilities!" as if the old concheror was impossible to do well with. that's all my point is.

i want see how many horns can you slap on a robot
No, I'm saying people who rely on unlocks are wrong. A big majority of players judge class effectiveness entirely from unlocks. That is bad.
Scout with the Mad Milk and Fan-of-War would like a word with you, in regards to MvM.
what of it?
Scout with the Mad Milk and Fan-of-War would like a word with you, in regards to MvM.
They are not the only loadout option and you know that, right?
Scout with the Mad Milk and Fan-of-War would like a word with you, in regards to MvM.
an extra second of fire and focus can deal with what those two unlocks are there for as said before, the meta only exists because it's reliable. If you're decent enough, you can shred through anything ezpz while missing a Scout
Apparently people dont realize I stated the Mad Milk and Fan due to Hellmet stating that 'Stock is best'. I know there are alternative loadout combinations and options for MvM, but the Scout has literally ~zero~ reason to use the Pistol or default Bat. Zero. Absolutely none.
lol, he didn't say Stock is better, he said that people only judge a scout based on if he has mad milk and fan o war. Which is correct. and stupid.
All classes can achieve their main job with 0 unlock. That's the only thing I was trying to convey. scout -> live and get money. Contribute decent damage (a scattergun matches rocket/pipe damage against single targets) aswell. soldier -> shoot big rockets and splash robots for massive damage (with specialist if needed) pyro -> flame shit, use airblast for safety nets demo -> sticky spam heavy -> sashatize robots at pointblank engi -> upgrade sentry health super early, profit with nearly invincible sentry med -> juggle with shield and uber for almost permanent godmode to at least half your team. Get to pointblank with robots for maximum destruction. Upgrade charging rate to make up for ubersaw. sniper -> play as normal. don't even have to worry about jarate management. spy -> The only serious victim. no DR is a big deal in mvm but with proper planning (i.e plan what will happen after you stab a target) and early resis, DR can be overcome. unlocks are bonuses. Not an integrity. I updated my list on the first page by the way.

wish there was a 5th A.I skill "Perfect" it would have red eye glows, perfect reaction time (no turn rate cap) perfect aim, perfect leading for demos best of all, it would have a dynamic dodge system where it would react based on the player's aim. Your crosshair would act like a force field against the AI, which would always try to stay out of it. It would be nasty. oh well. i also wanted to put in a perfect dark joke in here but i couldn't do it.

[sp]That would be awesome though...[/sp]

A new player joined and asked if he was on two cities as a joke we said it was mecha engi and he was dissapointed we were wondering if he was joking too so we told him how to search for the right one, and he thanked us and left we were laughing our asses off but we felt really bad he added one of us and called us asses
On the subject of "Perfect" AI, I wish the boss robots weren't so dull. They're just regular robots with a shitload of health. They could've been at least a bit more interesting.

Some unique abilities would be cool, like if melee boss bots would be able to pull players to them, or maybe they'd have spikes in them and are protected by gravity coils which pulls players towards the bot, dealing damage to the player.
How?
Hats. Got ninja'd Anyway it'd be better if the 'bosses' would actually fight the mercs rather than charge a barrage of pipes/rockets and fire at nothing every 3 minutes.

How about some boss bots that aren't based off a specific class? I mean, the Tank and Sentry Buster are the only bots not based off of the nine mercs, and those are cool but boring to fight in the case of the tank and impossible to fight without slowdown in the case of the buster.

I don't want bots with insane and over powered stats and acts like a meat shield. And the bots would have the beta bot heads to differentiate.
well let's see super scouts have bfb speed, giant fans have airblast-on-damage. that's pretty unique. most giant soldiers have custom rocketlaunchers. there's like 8-9 existing variants. pyros are the shittiest I can agree. they don't even have extra damage or larger range. demos have a couple variants aswell, but still kinda boring. giant heavies are mainstream but they have this crazy-ass damage and HP which is enough in my book. That's unique enough for me. They also have deflectors. giant meds are very interesting and unique, once you understand the numbers and mechanics. seems ok to me

Most giants are still just the same bot with a few differences, but that's OK because they're meant to be giant versions of standard bots. For the end of a mission, fighting the likes of Sir Nukesalot or a tank with stupid ammounts of HP isn't fun because in the end it's just a beefier version of what we just fought six or seven waves of.
the large ones with names? maybe you got a point. They almost didn't even bother with hats on the 2city tours. although i'm fine with tanks. They give you the opportunity to do your maximum damage without fear of retaliation. That is pretty fun for an engineer to wrench something he normally can't at the same time as his sentry shooting. Though the robot head ontop of the tank should probably be a real head hitbox. maybe they're working on the blimp or someshit

Tanks are often an obstacle that you can choose when to fight to a degree and they don't shoot back. Unfortunately, there's that one rottenburg mission that has about three or four tanks, and on the last wave you have to kill three more in a row with nothing else. I just dozed off the previous wave from fighting Nukesalot, give me something interesting goddamnit.
maybe they're working on the blimp or someshit
A blimp that lets out a constant stream of flying scoutbots that dual-wield incendry homing-rocket launching pistols also equipped with cloaking and teleportation watches.
Personally, I would love if Valve made any bosses with some classic TD game abilities, like flying (so you can't melee them), summoning minions or getting faster/stronger as he gets damaged. Personally, I would love to see a Medic Boss that summons a big wave of soldier/scout bots everytime he loses 1/3 of his HP and becomes übercharged until you finish off all the minions. Also, Engineer Boss that wields an Eureka Effect and blinks.
Also, Engineer Boss that wields an Eureka Effect and blinks.
I feel like this would be more frustrating than it would be fun, goddamn level threes everywhere.
I feel like this would be more frustrating than it would be fun, goddamn level threes everywhere.
Oh no, you got it wrong. It wouldn't build anything. Just teleport. All the time. As soon as he sense a crosshair over him, he would blink.
