• MvM Discussion Megathread: Do Androids Complain of Overpowered Upgrades?

Some stuff Punchy missed... -forget this one, you already have wrench speed- Don't get more than 1 sentry firing speed, it's broken. Don't get the disposable sentry. Get some extra metal upgrades because with only 200 and your extra wrench swing speed, you're going to run out fast, before the ammo kit/dispenser can refill you.
ranger bolts don't scale with upgrades tho. cant outheal the incoming damage
If you have some spare credits in the later waves, upgrade your firing speed and maybe clip size or reload speed. It can save your buildings in a pinch if you run out of metal.
The Australian Mann Up Servers are back, apparently.
ranger bolts don't scale with upgrades tho. cant outheal the incoming damage
It's not meant to be used as a replacement of the wrench, it's meant to be a way to repair your buildings from far away. One example would be the dispenser. The dispenser SHOULD be placed up front (meaning away from your sentry), where your teammates can easily get to it. That way, everybody can divert cash from ammo capacity to more directly useful stuff. With the rescue ranger, you save yourself a trip to repair the dispenser if you've got your sentry and dispenser far away from each other. Since you'll likely be camping next to your sentry, a spot with a nearby large ammo box is almost always sufficient in keeping the sentry alive. Max (or at least put two points in) dispenser range ASAP. As in first wave. If it doesn't, then heavies have to practically hug the thing to get continuous ammo from it, and that results in the dispenser being exploded.
interesting valve has removed the scout trilbilly hat from fan bots presumably to increase performance RIP hat spam [thumb]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/566645071638761630/498A8CBEB9B973CA17385D46BF32110099A6246C/[/thumb]

Eyelander crits perhaps.
Eyelander crits perhaps.
No heads.
No heads.
Most likely a listen server with addcond to enable crits to show the difference.
you know any demo melee can get the crits upgrade but yeah it's a listen. it's a shot by exhale, not me.
you know any demo melee can get the crits upgrade but yeah it's a listen. it's a shot by exhale, not me.
oh yeah, i always forget the crit on kill transfers weapons
Lol that picture actually made people post in here haha. It is the addcond command. I used it to show hell when the "drop hat on death" update hit.

It seems Valve fucked up with the Bolt Boy's style and that end up removing whatever hat is equipped on their heads. I commented out the Bolt Boy and the Fedora is back on their head again.
-snip late-
I'm griding Two Cities again to try and get Australium weapon. I got my Aus SMG on 4th tour completed, so I have high hopes. So far completed only one and got Brass Beast Kit. I'll sell it to get one ticket, then I'll have enough for whole tour.
Ohoh yeah. Only 2 more years to go. Yeah I just revived this thread with petty achievement bragging. Deal with it.

Deal with it.
Christ, i play mvm for half of my hours and i've barely pushed 70k. i should really stop playing support classes
I'm only reaching 97k and I've been playing over a year now. Then again, I did reset my stats, not knowing it would reset my bots killed count.
I only started to play MVM extensively last year and reaching 498,635 robots destroyed so far. But then, maybe I should subtract 50k from it from screwing around with custom missions.
And yet you are better and know more about this gamemode than 95% of the people that have been playing mvm since it was released. Screw any of these old "veterans" that still don't know basic shit or have figured out an actually good upgrade route.

He's talking about the all talk no skill high tourer'ers from Expert. Edit: and Two Cities!
I made an accurate graph on a money problem all scouts should be aware of [thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/moneyaura.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/moneyaura2.jpg[/thumb] this applies to any hollow obstacle. The aura makes money get stuck in tight corners and prevent the automatic pick-up. The stuck money will remain there for as long as the scout does not have a line of sight with the pile again. This often explains the magical vanishing 2$ that you couldn't ever find. the safest way to prevent this is to sweep the target area a second time.
Man, I was playing soldier and our engineer was hoarding his dispenser, and multiple people on the team including me politely requested he move it to help the team naturally he moved it and then spent the next 3 waves complaining about how he has no ammo and his buildings keep dying. So i suggest he consider building health, dispenser range and max metal. He gets REALLY pissed off now. He's spending the next 2 waves trying to tell me to shut the fuck up and that "you have 70 tours but you have absolutely no fucking right to tell me what to do" Whenever he fucked up he would yell "wow good fucking job soldier real helpful" and "i never fucking play engineer how is this my fault" anyways I got really annoyed on wave 6/6 and i told him to stop being so damn stubborn and idiotic. He destroyed all his buildings and left The next guy to join had 55 tours, was a friendly engi who knew the most supportive building spots, never complained, and he found a blood banker from the voucher our heavy was using long story short, it pays to not be a dick
Not sure if I should trust TF2 on the hitbox of those damn Soldier bots. [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/535123679798814502/1449EA88E3DD6BE5ECCBE34571FC4C72ED3E62DF/[/t]
Is it really that hard to understand what middle of bridge means in Mannhattan? Every time when I instruct them to place it in the middle, it's always hugging the railing. I ended up blowing my fuse because of this, but later on I started to temporarily switch to Engineer just to show them how.
Does the Holiday Punch still stun Giants or did they patch that? I remember seeing a youtube video of a holiday punch Heavy punching some Major Kritz' in the back and causing them to stand still and not fire their weapons.
