Granted the Giant Heavy's skill is only at Normal so I gave it +1400% damage bonus to compensate (and disable backstab so these bots won't just instantly kill the Giant and defying MVM logic).

It isn't a bug that have been there since release. It is something that happend with this update.
After thinking about what someone said about a MvM tour/mission where robots have only melee/medieval loadouts, I came up with this idea. A Mecha-Catapult that rides up on the edge of the robot spawn and launches flaming rocks at groups of players. I was thinking that simplistically, the rock could be a re-skinned grenade pill that explodes once it hits the ground and releases flames that catch players on fire. When it explodes when it hits the ground, it releases 4-5 small rocks that serve as a small, short timed hazard that can catch players on fire. Both the main rock and the rubble can be re-directed with an air-blast at robots, which does the same effect to them. It will still hurt the player that re-directs it though. It can also be shot down by Heavies with projectile deflection, although you have to shoot it until it breaks, unlike rockets that get shot down instantly. It will move up with the bomb, similarity to the mecha-Engineer that teleports in. When it is on the move, it cannot use the catapult, so a mini-sentry pops up on the front as it moves to its new location. This mini sentry CANNOT be destroyed, only stunned for a short time. It's range is smaller then a normal mini-sentry and the dps is lower. The knockback stays though, to signify that it is to repel you away from the Catapult as it moves. After the catapult reaches its new location, the catapult becomes usable again and the sentry goes offline unless a player comes into its greatly reduced range.(because the catapult can only shoot you when you are so close) I guess there could be some kind of variant with a bomb, as a type of tank (because lets face it, we need more tanks)
It seems Valve decided to break the Minigun's firing sound when you activates Knockback Rage by muting it completely :v: Only happens with stock Minigun that doesn't have any firing speed upgrade though.
Just how? It boggles my mind how they can break things like that and in a such a weird way.
I wish there was an upgrade for the Sandvich that allowed you to revive your teammates with it.
Posted this in another thread. It would be nice to see some different environments and how they can incorporate new weapons. It would be interesting to see how a horde of B.A.S.E Jumper Soldiers parachuting in for an aerial assault would work in MVM. Mannhattan was good because they introduced a side objective for the robots in the form of capturing A and B so would be fun to see what else could happen.

I met a 100 tour medic (I'm tour 85) Who told our engi to max firing speed and to never listen to anyone that says otherwise I had to interject because firing speed does nothing after 1 hit, and he went BALLISTIC. "Wow yeah fuckin you and every other bullshitter who doesnt know shit faggot more firing speed is better and dont give me that shit about it not working because i run my own fucking server i've tested it" "alright but you can easily modify values on your own server you have to test it on official ones" "dude stop acting like you understand shit. I run my fucking server off an SSD and i have sourcemod i think it's legit" At this point i was laughing my ass off because he was just using big words to sound intellegent. "None of that has to do with testing firing speed" This went on for a few waves before he went "Fine bitch we'll test it and i can prove your ass wrong next wave" So next wave comes, and i go engi and test it. But he ignored me and ran to the front. I tested it, and 1 hit of firing speed is the same as 2 and 3. I pestered him for the next 3 waves to come test it with me but he just stayed quiet and ignored me. He originally kept telling the new players "dont let those shits brainwash you, it actually works" but by the end of the match he stayed silent while i told them the opposite...
little report on what halloween broke in mvm - some servers seem out of sync or something and cause everybody to have no weapons. you still have good odds of landing in functional servers though - as usual custom huds create more problems [sp]than they're worth[/sp] - soundscapes (ambient noises) seem to be mixed up and play rainy/thundering sounds. sometimes it's fine - robots don't use their own lines. they are either completely silent or default to human lines - loot menu is misplaced oh and tf_hud_target_id_disable_floating_health also removes the giant hp
