Atm it feels like I'm playing two games at once. Team Fortress 2 and Team Strike: Global Fortress.
Valve need to merge this two games back into one.

It doesn't really feel like CS:GO now, current skins are hardly notice-able and picking up dropped weapons didn't really change much of the gameplay imo.
Maybe after a year or two, when they would've added a shit ton of skins and probably competitive.
what
Note to self: Refrain from posting stuff at 2 a.m.
What I tried to say:
Valve introduced some interesting functions with the recent "Gun Mettle" update. (To name a few: The statclock, the backpack 3D preview and the ingame inspect animations). But they thought it would be a great idea to support only the new weapons. But I'd also like to have a statclock on my strange Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol, a 3D preview for my MVM badges and the ability to inspect my Nostromo Napalmer ingame.
This is what I meant with "2 games".
First update to ever fuck over my performance.
I'm running the new maps at 30-40fps with AA off, shaders low, filtering at lowest and models/textures at high. Older maps are around 60-70 unless i lick a wall.
Meanwhile Witcher 3 runs at 45-55 with a mix between high/ultra.
How?
I fear that skilled players who can quickly bodyshot at close range will do this then abuse the 2 second jarate to buskwacka crit you in the face
there is fear in my soul
Trust me, the Sleeper + SMG combo is much, much worse and is actually viable compared to that.
Shoot someone while scoped in at mid-range, quickly switch to secondary, pop a few shots that are slightly more damaging and have no falloff at all.
Light classes can easily get killed with just 8-12 shots, especially if they're dumb enough to get into the Sniper at close range while still jarate'd and/or if he has really superb aim.
cp_powerhouse is stalemate hell.

3 second respawn times might have something to do with it

or the fact 3rd cap is behind spawn.
You know how they added a line of text to the stock Wrench to explain how you can hit friendly buildings to speed up construction, or upgrade and repair them?
Why don't they add something like that to the stock Flamethrower? Like: "Alt-Fire: Use 20 ammo to reflect enemy projectiles, knock back enemies, and extinguish allies near you."
I've seen way too many people burn to death after passing by like three friendly Pyros without a single one even attempting to extinguish them. It probably won't help much, but at least it might help one newbie who actually reads the weapon stats.

It's a world of pure pain and alienation. I stare at the Medic in front of me, and he does not heal. The flames consume me.
You really can't go on a server just to fuck around and have fun anymore
there's like UGC platinum nerds on a 24/7 2fort server, like what the shit
or the fact 3rd cap is behind spawn.
I mostly find the mid point to be the stalematey one. You wipe the enemy team and before you know it a demo that just died is back spamming stickies down into the hole the point is in. Also I feel like there are a few unnecessary props here and there that make it hard to see people coming. It's not like they make it any harder for snipers to get you since they can just sit up in the window anyways.
When people are complaining that TF2 is JUST like CSGO now. Not just that they took a few features from it, no now TF2 is literally the same game and you might as well play CSGO
MASSIVE framedrops whenever someone with a skinned gun exists anywhere within 50m radius.
Wasn't sure what's been causing it, went spec today when framedrops started and surely enough, the game lagged the hardest around the sole scout with a skinned scattergun, but nowhere else. He went afk for a while and the battle moved on, I could spec it just fine but whenever I wandered back to the lone scout frames went to shit.
Nothing against skins but they better fix that.
thank u tf game cordinator for being down the exact moment when i complete my tour
What the hell is the point of bonus points for the contracts if I end up with shit skins anyway? And with contracts like the one for Engie where the advanced task is actually difficult to get, this is quite upsetting.

As someone who platinum nerds it up on 24/7 2fort daily (LA Skial server), I gotta admit, if I see one guy goofing off, I generally don't care and I'll leave him alone or toss the guy a sandwich.
If the entire enemy team is cossacking/congaing it up, I will not hesitate in immediately mowing them down because I came to kill tiny baby men and to me that is fun.
A game based around firearms I should think would involve some fun with firearms.
The new weapon pickup system looks really interesting and I like it, but it's so difficult to pick up a weapon without stopping entirely and having to make myself vulnerable to everything. The pickup hitbox, if you want to call it that, should be increased.

I missed the times where the first week after the update releases the game is horridly broken.

the last update deliberately hid valve servers from the server browser
- Valve official quickplay and matchmaking servers are no longer listed in the server browser

the last update deliberately hid valve servers from the server browser
What? Why? So I can't select Valve servers based on the exact map they're playing anymore and I cannot guarantee that I won't be placed in a Dubai server? Quickplay only shows the 'best' servers of a certain type as far as I am aware.

i guess they figured that the quickplay browser is good enough if you're only looking for valve servers, and if you're using the server browser then you're probably looking for community servers instead
you can still find valve servers in the steam server browser, though
I ran booties/sticky waaaaay long before it was cool (or good)
now it's probably everywhere, isn't it?
I ran booties/sticky waaaaay long before it was cool (or good)

It's not everywhere, far more people are using the Tide Turner and Loch. There's a minority trying out the new Iron Bomber, and then there are other people using stock because stock has always been solid.
But from personal experience both before and after the patch it's much more potent. Try it with Quickiebombs, it's pretty nuts right now.
People that just hide in the background, firing 3 damage shots, then complaining when they get their asses kicked.
Everyone likes to bitch about "squeakers", but to me, they are just kids. Voices that actually squeak/crack — i.e. anyone from age 13-18 — are far more annoying.
It depends on the kid. If they're just playing the game, calling out spies, ect. then it's fine. If they start whinning or begging over voice then it becomes annoying.

Seriously was I the only one who saw the nerf for this coming a mile away? I actively avoided using it during the buff so for me its like getting the loch back since I can now use it without being an asshat. Id say its still pretty useful for taking out enemies at longer ranges and for dealing with engineers.
