I don't intend to be an attention whore, but if people say shit about me, like Jasper did, then I'm obviously gonna retaliate. BTW Jasper, I thought you were cool. You made one of my favorite Alien items. Dunno what makes you act like such a prick
That is incredibly irrelevant and actually directly insulting somebody and bringing up work they helped contribute towards even if by a bit is uncalled for. This is not the place for that at all, and as already mentioned I only said one thing as a joke towards the reactions. You have to learn to relax and not retaliate to this extent and bring up your own issues, this is merely a thread for things that annoy you in TF2. To be actually related, the new maps bugging out sometimes with props disappearing has been pretty irritating, but it seems to happen much less frequently now.

I'm noting an inability to detect sarcasm and generally the flow of the conversation. Everything said has obviously been in jest, but your reaction seems to relate you place intense significance on things that mean nothing.

Anyway, I'm sorry for venting my anger towards you lot. I'll try not to make it happen again
What the fuck is wrong with Valve's servers? I seriously can't connect to a single one, they don't even fucking show up in the server browser most of the time. And if they do show up, they're from Dubai. This shit drives me up the wall.

Soldiers, scouts and pyros are unbeatable in the right hands, while Heavies are just waiting to be Headshotted/ Backstabbed
What it it about soldier mains that makes them the most toxic of all the 'uber leet pro' players?
Weird way to spell scout
Weird way to spell scout
Nah, toxic scout mains are usually really dumb and impulsive and very childish so their toxicity is usually pretty easy to ignore. Toxic soldiers are just the biggest jerks around though. Spies might be close.
I'd still say Scout mains are the worst. Almost always wearing a pink or lime green tosslecap with a quick learner and some cringy renamed Scatter gun.
Nah, toxic scout mains are usually really dumb and impulsive and very childish so their toxicity is usually pretty easy to ignore. Toxic soldiers are just the biggest jerks around though. Spies might be close.
mostly every soldier main I know is p chill
Sniper mains are Beelzebub's evil offspring sent to rain horror and vitriol upon the holy sons of God. Only when we read the words of St. Heavy in his epistle to the base in Teufort are we given the path of instruction to combat these evil and wicked spirits: 3 "And Lo the Angel came forth from on high and spake thusly: 4 'Use thy Holy and Mighty Gun of Six Barrels to smite the Dark Mains of the Australis, O mighty men of valor, and falter not in your Jump-revving, for that will be your undoing in the end times. 5 Share thy Sandvich with thine Medicinal Disciple as he has shared his powers with thee. 6 Have good faith in thy cause and strike with thine clenched fists the very dagger from the palm of thine Dark foe, which seeks to destroy you.' " But getting back to the issue, some sniper mains are real jerks.
I'd still say Scout mains are the worst. It gets more attention than any lime green whatever you see out there.

Soldier has a pretty low skill ceiling, so more people can latch onto him as their class of choice, meaning more dickheads can too. He has a lot of health, great weapons, so-so speed (made amazing through rocket jumping), he's my class of choice when I'm not playing Medic.

Spies might be close.

What it it about soldier mains that makes them the most toxic of all the 'uber leet pro' players?
It's not really to do with any specific class, It's all about the person, sometimes the game they play too. For example there's that Stabby boy. He plays pretty much the most frustrating and barely rewarding class there is that relies on the skill of your enemy. Since the class is pretty frustrating and sometimes redundant (IE I can just go demo and get rid of that sentry nest with 1/10th the effort I'd need as Spy) he can naturally devolve to be a very frustrated, pessimistic, immature person with an extreme lack in social skills (in which he is.. he's really rude and racist and generally not a fun person to be around) I can also use this argument and replace Stabby with a game like Dota. Dota is very frustrating and makes you rely on your teammates. That can hurt your social skills and after playing that game for a very long time you can quite literally socially devolve into a pottymouth asshat with a superiority complex. Obviously the foundation of this depends on the type of person, if they're easily influenced by others or by other stimuli, etc but that's just the way I like to think about it. It's very easy to feel like an elitist if you're good at a class that isn't a 'standard' class like Soldier or Medic. People get it into their heads that they're very special, which is fine - but then treat others with severe disrespect because they feel special, which is not fine. (woop sorry for long winded post)
soldier gets shit done without the need of an extreme degree of accuracy (like scout or sniper would) or a all-or-nothing gamble (like pyro and demo) this could explain the likeliness of soldier mains easily getting on power trips since they can kill just about anything in any situation regardless of external factors
I'd still say Scout mains are the worst. Almost always wearing a pink or lime green tosslecap with a quick learner and some cringy renamed Scatter gun.
In my entire time of playing TF2, I have only seen two or three neon scouts and give absolutely zero shits about what people wear.
soldier gets shit done without the need of an extreme degree of accuracy (like scout or sniper would) or a all-or-nothing gamble (like pyro and demo) this could explain the likeliness of soldier mains easily getting on power trips since they can kill just about anything in any situation regardless of external factors
I'm 50/50 on agree/disagree because even though the most parts are true, a good soldier has good prediction skills, not accuracy skills. Accuracy would be if they were using the direct hit, because the splash damage from the default RL helps fill in the 'accuracy' part of the prediction. Soldier is designed to be the good in everything but not the best in everything situation which is the part that makes him strong, the part that makes him weak is that you're one of the classes that really suffers if the person you are fighting is better than you (IE good scouts that can dodge, enemy soldiers outplaying you, pyro heckling, etc)
There are times I wish Valve would pull a Facepunch and put in instaban phrases
I want to buy my own tf2 server just so I can mod it so anyone who types in generic obnoxious memetalk like lenny faces and rekt gets autobanned
People calling the Heavy a weak class.
soldier gets shit done without the need of an extreme degree of accuracy (like scout or sniper would) or a all-or-nothing gamble (like pyro and demo) this could explain the likeliness of soldier mains easily getting on power trips since they can kill just about anything in any situation regardless of external factors
After watching that "Aim theory" video, I'd argue Soldier does need quite a bit of aiming skills. As soon as he pulls out the shotgun (which is super powerful by the way) it's all about tracking, and obviously if a soldier is flying at you with a rocket jump you need to be able to place that airshot. Prediction is more when you're just fighting a person and they're moving around strangely or something
Do any of you get annoyed when you see "( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" in chat while playing TF2? I see this like almost every single week if not everyday. That meme is like 2 years old.
