Hopefully removal of damage spread is the first step toward the removal of random crits. Ive got to say its awful nice to know that light classes will always die in 2 melee swings, especially after they made that weird tweak so its melee kills that refill your charge instead of charge kills

Autobalance and crits are server settings, you're complaining about things you don't have to deal with if you didn't want to.

Unless you want to play on a populated server that you [I]aren't[/I] an admin on in which case you're SOL.
A server I go to has crits but no autobalance. It's a struggle out their.
I forgot to add, I was doing the Medic contract which on official servers it's pain on its own so everything was 10x more frustrating to me. Random melee crits from charging enemies behind our lines that should not be there, army of heavies healed by army of medics, medic chain combo that was no one able to stop. There was genuinely 10 minutes of me playing where I got killed only by random crits. I am a bit less salty now but still quite salty.

the kill box for "The device" on that Gun Mettle CP map are fucking huge. It's stupid.

Only if you've inflicted damage to them. And the Holiday Punch doesn't deal any damage on a crit thus stripping you from the assist.
Even if you did deal damage to the person, it's all up to the disgustingly broken assist system to decide whether or not to give you that assist or give all the credit to the scout who shot your victim from across three servers.

It's completely braindead, it's just airlbast + shoot, no skill involved compared to the soldier who at least needs to bounce up/juggle the enemy
Simply removing the reserve shooter from pyro would solve so many complaints and issues but oh man degreaser/reserve shooter pyros would be super salty
I would love to drink the tears of Degreaser/Reserve Shooter mains if it gets removed from Pyro. But imagine what would happen if Heavy got it instead? The Reserve would be a great counter for those jumpy-ass Scout mains. I can only dream.
Simply changing Airblast to be explosion knockback instead of a complete stunlock with fixed trajectory would solve so many issues.

The shooter wasn't designed to be a "if you're in the air fuck you minicrits" it's supposed to be an addition to the soldier so he can bounce people up with his rocket launcher and get minicrits as a reward, seeing as that's slightly skill based

I thought since the shotgun is multi class it'd just count kills in general.
They'd only count kills earned with with that weapon. If you're lookin' for sentry kills, you'd need KS wrench instead.

The soldier gets a rocket launcher.
I wish the medic contract didn't specify what classes I have to uber to get points. Sometimes it's a fight to get some uber assists at all, ten times that on Valve servers.

thankfully, it takes an order of magnitude more skill to airblast rockets than it does to shoot them.
