How does this happen
probably while bonked though any heavy that can aim well enough to send shit flying deserve all the respect they can get
He means getting knocked around while he's revved up with the brass beast is annoying, not being blown away by a brass beast heavy
If you get knocked airborne as heavy, revved mini you can still airstrafe a bit and even unrev during it all. with brass beast you're just stuck flying back in a straight line forever as more and more people shoot you
To be fair, that only happens if you let them get close enough to send you flying. Brass Beast is the world's greatest people-mower.
When both teams suck. So you spend the entire defense round in a boring, unchallenging defense where you see almost nobody, and then you spend the entire attack as the only person that knows there is an objective.\ Borneo is better in this respect than Snowplow. Snowplow's balance just sucks. It's hard as fuck to defend.
I find the second point on the first stage pretty easy to defend.
I find the second point on the first stage pretty easy to defend.
Either it's pretty easy to defend or the attackers blow through it before any defenders even reach it. It's just a shitty map. The Valve TF2 team probably felt bad for sitting on it for those few months, but there's a lot of reasons it wasn't released.
He means getting knocked around while he's revved up with the brass beast is annoying, not being blown away by a brass beast heavy
o i c other than forced pushes that's very unlikely to happen
The fact that when it comes to accidents, this game is like a sensitive little kid. I accidentally put my spray in the wrong folder, game refuses to start up.
getting accused of hacking then getting lynched by everyone on the server and then getting votekicked do people even know what a hacker looks like i'm pretty sure i don't 100% accurate snap headshot everyone
How sometimes you'll be on the 4th round of a match and 5 out of the 11 people on your team have less than 2 points. Sometimes my team is willing to kick them for being what they are: idle, but sometimes they aren't and that's doubly frustrating. [editline]10th August 2015[/editline] Just got "kicked for cheating" on a team of 4 pointers, and 5 snipers. I'm glad that I'd made half-friends with the other intelligent player on our team, so someone could witness with me the garbage that is the TF2 community. My ego is boosted. This is a good way to end the night.
o i c other than forced pushes that's very unlikely to happen
Almost anything can knockback you from explosive, FaN, airblast, sentry's fire. Imagine if Brass Beast was immune to all that and could be a viable weapon to mass pushback :v:
getting accused of hacking then getting lynched by everyone on the server and then getting votekicked do people even know what a hacker looks like i'm pretty sure i don't 100% accurate snap headshot everyone
It doesn't matter if you're doing something special or not, all it takes is for that one guy moving in a straight line as a scout to teamswitch and cry cheats because you're not a sniper having trouble finding your WASD keys while aiming with a touchpad
getting accused of hacking then getting lynched by everyone on the server and then getting votekicked do people even know what a hacker looks like i'm pretty sure i don't 100% accurate snap headshot everyone
On this, I can now confirm that it's even funnier when people kick you for playing as classes that aren't the sniper.
The fact that when it comes to accidents, this game is like a sensitive little kid. I accidentally put my spray in the wrong folder, game refuses to start up.
Why don't people simply use a spray importer? Is there a hidden glitch with it I don't know about?
On this, I can now confirm that it's even funnier when people kick you for playing as classes that aren't the sniper.
there was this one time i was playing as soldier when i killed this spy with a direct ( he was just a disguised spy, uncloaked ) and he started saying that I was hacking and that I couldn't have seen him while I was cloaked. he got pretty much shit on though, even a person i was arguing with before was defending me.
my idiotic inability to aim in any shape or form despite having played for 4 years now and a lot of practice.
my idiotic inability to aim in any shape or form despite having played for 4 years now and a lot of practice.
Have you got your mouse settings correct?
settings barely change a thing. Except Vsync. If you don't "feel it" with your mouse you just need another model entirely.
settings barely change a thing. Except Vsync. If you don't "feel it" with your mouse you just need another model entirely.
Sensitivity can make quite the difference.
Sensitivity can make quite the difference.
and make sure not to have a sensitivity if you're over 6 you're probably doing it wrong
and make sure not to have a sensitivity if you're over 6 you're probably doing it wrong
There is no magic number for sensitivity, it's about what feels best to you.
There is no magic number for sensitivity, it's about what feels best to you.
yes, but if for some reason you think you can play well with a sensitivity of 15 (my brother did until I changed it to 4 and he suddenly played better), you may want to reevaluate your life choices go on tr_walkway as a scout, and follow an unmoving bot with your mouse while running around them at various distances. if you're constantly overshooting, lower the sensitivity until you can (relatively) smoothly follow it. if you can't keep up, increase it. the point where you can easily follow the opponent relatively close and far away from it is where your sensitivity should end up with this method you'll probably find your sensitivity a lot less than 6, mine ended up being 3.5. tbh I can barely get a full 360 spin with my mousepad, I need a bigger one
Overhealed scouts that don't stop shouting "medic!"
Overhealed players that don't stop shouting "medic!"
ftfy
Spies that start shouting medic as they are leaving spawn. Clearly the enemy medic won't at all be suspicious of those medic bubbles over at the enemy spawn right at the start of a round.
You could enable DX8, the game disables the skins when you do that.
You could enable DX8, the game disables the skins when you do that.
I'd much prefer valve make it so they don't lag the game I'd really like it if TF2 could run as fast as HL2, because even at max settings HL2 still runs faster than TF2 in lowest DX9 settings
Has anyone tried fighting against a competent Direct Hit player? It's 2 hits to kill you, first one pops you up, second one instagibs you. Absolutely infuriating, same kinda helplessness as airblast but it takes skill to do at least.

Infuriating twatknocker is damned good with the DH.
