Jesus Christ, Had a Borneo Contract, with the bonus points being Win 3 rounds. 2 times in a row I'm about to win the round and I get fucking autobalanced at the last second from people rage quitting on the other team. That was the most frustrating hour in this game I've had

It's really only bad when you're playing sniper or spy. I would love for half of my team to go demoman or heavy when I'm doing well as those. Hell, I'd even love a medic gimmick swarm more than 6 snipers, 5 of which knowing they can't aim for their life.

There's probably already a good chunk of guides covering pretty much everything a scout needs to know and what goes in a scout player's head, no need to add another one to the bunch.
The reason you might not be able to see them and think it would warrant for a guide is probably because the most popular guides are almost always some "TF2 wildlife" or "How 2 play the game" joke guides which bury the actually useful ones beneath them.

There's also the fact that it's Suijin which frankly is as bad as 2Fort in terms of people going sniper.

I don't like the calculations of the "general score"
one time I played a payload on blue, and I had this sick-ass team that just ran ahead and terminated RED everytime while I was the only lonely player to stand on the cart. I just stood AFK on it for 3 or 4 rounds and never did squat.
everytime I eventually capped it I got MVP with a dozen points ahead of our main killer.
It's just wrong.

That's a combination of objectives not only rewarding 2 points per capture, but also the fact that the Payload itself awards multiple capture points based on distance.
Tone it down to only reward 1 capture point per push distance would make scores more reasonable, then having the 2 only for the capture point itself.
Payloads are a bit generous on points, but it's still annoying when you lose some points just because you strayed 1 foot away from the cap for the exact moment it was capped and was glued to it the entire time. When it comes to caps it should give you points based on how much time you spend on the cap, with a bonus point for the actual cap. A scout who capped it 95% of the way but dies gets no credit, but the Sniper who stumbled on the point gets all of it.

I'd like this on normal control points too. I could be backcapping something and a dude comes along and kills me right as I have it almost capped, darn. But then someone comes in and it's like "joe5555 won the game for us praise him!"

I hate how I get sucked into playing Gun Mettle for way too long when I got sick of it an hour earlier. Not satisfied unless there's a challenge, but not a grind.
I think going face first into a wood chipper would be less painful than playing another round against 5 good pyromains with subpair team with no medics. As the rockets got reflected and the phlog pyro died like 3 times. I got most of them to rage out after winning the next round, but should have left at the start of snow[s]blow[/s]plow.
Moral of the story , don't quickplay gun mettle. I don't even contract.

Some achievements are ridiculous and grindy.

IIRC the display for that one has been broken for years. It'll still complete when you reach 1 mil but it won't display progress until then.

However, this is NOT the "I'll heal you if you need heals". It's the "I'LL HEAL YOU AND YOU ONLY" type of healing. A.k.a being my pocket Medic.

The progress display for that one (and Tartan Spartan and several other long-term achievements) doesn't show up in Steam correctly, but it definitely is tracked and shows up on your HUD correctly during gameplay if you tick the ''track achievement'' box for Pyromancer in the Achievements window.

the assist system is kinda fucked in general, even if i put out hella damage on someone, if another person + the killer just plink him and he dies i dont get shit, and the finish off kill is a little wonky too. Sometimes it will not award you and sometimes it will. The worst part is i dont remember the assist system always being like this

Bonus points if the only reason you "missed" that last shot is because you died while firing and that somehow magically prevented the bullets from exiting your gun.

Five spies on BLU.

My TF2 has a system. As I play it, it begins to stutter, then models (mostly the firstperson view) start stretching out and blue specks start appearing because my less-than-a-year-old GPU is a jerk, then finally, it crashes.
But today it just crashed three times for no apparent reason, all within 15 minutes of joining a server. Each time, it looked like it wasn't going to, then it just did.

It's always been like this. Just look at hats.
Say if I wanted a Hearts TC because I'm unoriginal like that. Theres ~335 uncratable hats and 14 possible effects in a series 1 crate.
Run those numbers with the ~1% chance of an unusual and you get 1/469,000 chance of that specific hat coming from a crate.

I have a factory new scattergun, the exterior is fine. The phong / normal map etc however, is covered in scratches all over.
