Or when the map switches right as you finish loading.
Click on an Upward server "You're headed to: Hoodoo" Frantically hit escape while the server info retrieving lags my comp.
So, according to Muselk's video, sandman's ball apparently counts as a melee attack, meaning if you hit someone with the ball a mile away the ball will instantly teleport that distance to your hand
I don't understand what you mean by this. It will instantly teleport to my hand? Are you referring to the recharge? I'm lost.
I don't understand what you mean by this. It will instantly teleport to my hand? Are you referring to the recharge? I'm lost.
An enemy is holding the ball. Normally, you would melee the enemy to steal the ball from them. But, for some reason the game counts a sandman's stun ball as a melee attack. So, if you manage to hit them from far away with a baseball, it magically teleports into your hands, and as a bonus, stuns them.

When Valve's public announcement alarm goes off and it just scares the shit out of you because it's loud.
wish I could get rid of melee impact noises because they're pretty annoying when 1/4 the time no damage is dealt
I wish melee attacks dealt no damage only 1/4th of the time. Instead of removing the sound, they should make it so melee weapons are more capable of actually hitting people for real.
When Valve's public announcement alarm goes off and it just scares the shit out of you because it's loud.
I have never heard this alarm before, could someone link me to it?

if the sandman ball counts a s a meelee attack, does that mean that the wrap assasin and flying guillotine deal meelee damage as well?
Wrap assassin, yes. No idea about the Guillotine though.
Balls because they are derivative of the melee slot. Shields because they apply a short-range melee attack under specific circumstances. Battle Banners because they are also derived from the melee slot, they just don't have any actual means of attack. Cleaver is a ranged projectile in a ranged slot using ranged animations and blah blah blah. It has nothing even remotely resembling a melee weapon.
iirc the Flying Guillotine deals melee damage, it's not resisted by the Vaccinator.
Nothing the vaccinator has would resist bleed damage in the first place
Nothing the vaccinator has would resist bleed damage in the first place
I don't think it resists the initial hit though.
I don't think it resists the initial hit though.
Yeah but the initial hit is untyped so the vacc would not resist it regardless of being melee or not. The range/melee var is also left untyped.
if the sandman ball counts a s a meelee attack, does that mean that the wrap assasin and flying guillotine deal meelee damage as well?
Guillotine does not. In Muselk's video, he takes a Guillotine hit once while heading to the goal and does not lose the ball.
random crit spam and engineer building on last for no reason, especially on mvm tour.
The guillotine critting on stunned enemies was a mistake that never should have been implemented
My favorite part is that being airblasted/hit by the natascha seems to count as being stunned :v:
Le playing as engi, spy comes to my buildings. He sapped my sentry, I am about to kill him with my wrench. First hit: -62 Second hit: -62 Randomly facestabs me. Disconnected by user.
People who say "omg noob team" to hide the fact that they suck horribly at the game
Guy scores 4 points in the past 10 minutes, sits at the bottom of the scoreboard. "OMG this team sucks"

When there is an obvious hacker on the server but nobody seems to care and votes no to kick.
you know whats even funnier? he only needs to switch to spec if the vote is actually close to kick him.
When there is an obvious hacker on the server but nobody seems to care and votes no to kick.
I did an experiment a while back to try and get kicked as fast as possible from a random valve server. Turns out that about 3/4 of valve servers, no one will kick you until you start spamming. Even if you're spinning around everywhere, headshotting everyone that walks out of spawn. Most people will either vote no or not vote at all. not even people on the victim team. It's fucking weird. [editline]21st August 2015[/editline] Even if the cheater is shouting KICK ME PLEASE
Level 3 sentries out in the open that no one bothers taking down. Bonus points if its KOTH.
Level 3 sentries out in the open that no one bothers taking down. Bonus points if its KOTH.
Bonus points if a Demo equips Loch N Load, starts walking out of the spawn... Then charges away to not get shot by the sentry :v:
Met a guy who constantly complained about bodyshots and was calling himself a youtuber that does sentry jumps and begged to not destroy his buildings in pass map. Oh yeah, every pass server is now filled with people that think it's hilarious making the ball stuck and such. "Delfy here, Delfy there, record it to youtube this etc." A shame, i actually enjoy the mode with teamwork on.

Why do I keep getting voted off of Valve servers? I'm just minding my own business playing as sniper clicking some heads on passtime and bam, a vote goes through successfully accusing me cheating. I'm flattered, but really? Do these valve server votekick bans stick or do they go away after awhile? Because it keeps happening for various reasons like the above and its really starting to get on my nerves. That's 3 this week.
