I mean, no offense to people from the area, but judging from the nationalities of people I come across on various TF2 forums (and also just by logic), I have a feeling there really aren't that many avid TF2 players in the Central Asia + India + Middle East + Arab peninsula region. So if they set up Valve servers in Dubai, a region which I assume has way less TF2 traffic than even SEA or Australia, I don't know why South America's excluded.

Go use wauterboi's server browser and try to find a populated server that isn't 24/7 something or some mod, I dare you. I know his browser doesn't include every server, but it's basically every server that isn't total garbage, and it's [I]still [/I]hard to find something good.

You can understand how friggin' annoying it is when pixels stretch out from a player creating fugly two-dimensional shapes that take away from your view of the game.

Artifacts can appear because of a lot of things, not just the GPU Reset your motherboard to factory settings and/or update the BIOS, see if that fixes it

Just to join in on the artifacts, I've been having the exact same artifacts, though they may be gone now after a GPU upgrade, just haven't played. Most likely it's the config though.

First off, is SA profitable enough to validate some servers?. I have not meet people that plays MvM regularly or spent a lot in TF2. Second: They must create two SA regions, Brazil and the rest of the continent are not going to mix well, why? the language is different and that could cause serious communication problems, but if you put effort, you can understand a little of both. I do not know much about Brazil internet connections, so that could be another problem. Third, and the most complicated one: SA is mostly toxic between players and countries. Go anywhere or ask people about their experiences on LoL, Payday 2 or co-op games, fight erupts without anything remotely good or reason. Heck, one time a guy started arguing about me being a chilean on an Argentina server, luckily the rest of the server shut him up almost instantly with logical arguments. Long story short: We are a bunch of mixed peanuts.

TF2: The one game where your entire team consists of FTP Russian Kids that are fine with 300 ping on NA servers.
