omg friendly!!!
When I meet friendlies, I mostly just ignore them. Let them have fun in their own way, I'd rather focus on the real game. [sp]Unless I'm completely not in a mood to play normally but after such long break from TF2 that's not a thing.[/sp]
I make a point to throw jarate at them
I usually ignore friendlies, except to take their sandwiches or use them as free health kits with the Power Jack, Kunai, and so on.
Or unless I'm in a bad mood or they're the entire enemy team.
I usually just stomp them into the ground and crush their little friendly dreams for being waste of player slot on the server.
I wanna befriend them and immediately stab them in the back so that they know how i feel when i go
to my friend's house.
My friend didn't help with our project.

imagine being this serious about video games
Imagine spending your entire time on a server, acting all friendly and doing jack shit to help the team.
If you wanna be friendly, go on a trade server or something.
Yeah, I don't mind if the whole server is being friendly, but being friendly alone is a bit silly.
What really bothers me though is when friendly players complain when they get killed, and especially when they say that the person killing them is "ruining people's fun", it's like they don't realise that some people find it fun to kill people in a game about killing.
imagine being this serious about video games
Imagine dancing in the middle of a gunfight and then screaming at people about how they are ruining your fun when they started shooting at you.

+ As Dom Pyroshark said, the "friendly" would be wasting a player spot for people who legit want to play the game normally.
If they're such a nuisance to you then why not vote-kick them?
Oh wait, they're not on your team? Well good then, that's one less person you need to worry about? I don't really see a reason as to why you should go out of your way to target them, but if you do, please enlighten me.

I am yet to see a votekick on "friendlies" that passes. I've seen actually more of an opposite effect where people join them instead.
Also, I don't go out of my way to kill them, I usually kill them only when I come across them, only exception is when there are higher priority targets nearby like people WHO ACTUALLY PLAY THE FUCKING GAME

It's not exactly fun to play a game where your opponent is deliberately not playing.
Imagine playing football where the goalie spent the whole match taking a nap.
Steam servers fucking up costs me a mission, and game thinks I quit, someone took my space, and here I am, spot taken and 1 hour of nothing.
FUCK
Today on barnblitz a scout on my team decided he was fed up of dying to the enemy and was instead going to judge BLU team's morality based on whether they'd kill a friendly "harmless scoot".
I started a votekick on him for being idle and not playing the game.
It passed [sp]and it felt great.[/sp]
how to deal with one sided steamroll teams
step 1: go demoman
how to deal with one sided steamroll teams

Unless there is an even better demo on the other team with a medic up his ass.
Unless there is an even better demo on the other team with a medic up his ass.
Relevant: the only way to counter demo spam is more demo spam.
I finished my sniper contract and the bonus as the servers started to shit themselves, now it's down to 48 points :suicide:
Unless there is an even better demo on the other team with a medic up his ass.
Use Targe to get that sick 40% resistance to explosives and obtain god tier pill aiming.
The Scout on our team in MvM missed $20.
The Demo insists on kicking him and when the vote fails he switches to Sticky Jumper, Bootlegger, Paintrain and starts demanding that we kick him before turning his mic on and screaming into the mic- insisting that we kick him.
The obvious solution would be for getting kicked to apply the exact same penalties as leaving yourself.
apparently my round win wasn't worth as much this time??
Had 9 point surplus when you finished the main part of the contract which carried over.
If 120 bucks if the difference between your team winning or losing a round of Two Cities then you're a shit player. If that Demo NEEDS that 120 then he should go back to normal difficulty.
I don't get why this thread hates friendlies with a passion. They don't bother me much, there's like 20 other players to shoot.

A victory isn't as nearly as satisfactory when I know that some of their team isn't even playing. It's literally a handicap, and if we lose to a team that has friendlies well then the loss feels even worse.
Friendlies should stay on trade servers, saxton hale severs, etc but please for the love of christ stay off stock servers.
Not sure why but sometimes my buildings explode when I get out of spawn and pickup them up.

A bit late, but they did it so engineers don't camp in spawn with their sentry (for mvm sentry buster reasons)

In Saxton Hale they'd be even worse because you need as much man power as you can get to beat him a lot of the time.

It's more when 3-4 people on your team suddenly decided to stop contributing and do a dumb thing like throw medium health kits at people you're fighting.
