Stuff that Annoys you in TF2: bind m1 say "( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" edition
it does make a large difference.
it means all weapons with a damage bonus can't do the job they would normally in one or two hits (this includes stuff like the skullcutter) unless they crit. It means a heavy that starts reving-up and tracks the spy does less than smg dps (thanks to the wonderful minigun nerf ontop of that). It means surviving two medium range scattergun or rockets. A quick scope headshot, three melee hits aswell.
It's borderline more annoying than the old deadringer because they should have died.
If you can still track them after these many hits, then they're walking in a line or being terrible. You will lose track of them before you can finish the job.
And then you can just pair something stupid like l'etranger and spycicle to make the whole thing even dumber.
WAAAA SPIES ARE NO LONGER A 100% EASY GUARANTEED KILL ANYMORE IF A SPY IS SMART HE MIGHT ACTUALLY LIVE AFTER A STAB SOMETIMES NOT FAIR VOLVO PLS WAHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree with him or not, here's the difference between you two right now:
He took the effort to fully type out his issues.
You basically slammed your face into your keyboard.
You should try not being dumb.

He typed how he feels entitled to easy kills because he saw the spy and shot him once even though spy is already one of the weakest classes who gets screwed over by random bullshit more than any other class. Even if a spy is doing as well as possible he is still less effective at getting picks than sniper even though he has to put himself at a significantly greater risk. Sorry I dont think spy should be an easy kill 24/7 if he cloaks away, spies are still pretty easy kills its just now they aren't completely guaranteed easy kills. It does not matter how I typed it, the point still stands. I couldn't give less of a shit about your opinion on how I phrased it. Maybe you should focus more on what someone is trying to say rather than nitpicking about how they say it.

Fair enough. I still think you're being an asshole, and I hope you know nobody is ever going to take what you say seriously, so I hope you're not looking for people to take your opinion into account.

Believe it or not, how you say things actually matters a whole lot.
Why the fuck do people actually enjoy 32 player insta-respawn. It's a clusterfuck even from a pure DM perspective.
It works psyhically. When I see someone with a lot of kills on his strange I know he played this game for ages and that I'm going to have a really hard time playing against him. And since it's pub I know can't simply rely on my teammates to cooperate with each other to take him down.

Fair point, but psychological warfare isn't showing off man.

How do these people even find this shit funny?

They're usually kids/teenagers who watch people like Pewds from my experience.

you have no reason to be seen in the first place.
and no you aren't supposed to get away with cloaking infront of people.

I might sound rude but go back to school, it will help you a lot.
The people at Valve who decided that Baby Face's Blaster, Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol, Loch n' Load (yes I consider changing 20+ damage done to 20+ more damage to buildings a nerf), Enforcer, Detonator, and Powerjack needed a nerf.
On a more serious note, Snipers who wear the Anger and have a Strange Sniper Rifle.
How was giving the detonator minicrits a nerf?

Baby Face's was dumb, and everyone used it, a prime example of too much for too little.
Pocket Pistol was another one of many equip it and forget it weapons, which just isn't good design. I think it could use a buff but making it the Scout's Blutsauger is a nice idea.
Loch getting three shots and a damage bonus against everything was a really strange decision. At least it couldn't 1 shot light classes anymore.
Enforcer is pretty much the same, except it doesn't promote Battle Spy as much as it used to, and now that the disguise glitch is fixed it's not actually broken so yeah, the "nerf" was fine here.
Det got it's utilities buffed in exchange for it doing less damage. It's not meant to deal massive damage, it's for mobility. If you want high crit damage, use the Flare Gun.
The Powerjack is one of the most confused weapons in the game. It was a weapon that dealt more damage, and gave you health for killing with it, after all the changes it's a utility melee to help you get to the battlefield quicker, and it also gives you health for killing? If you ask me they should've just axed that upside completely and given it to the Back Scratcher, not like people would stop using it anyway.

A lot of pre-nerf weapons makes you think who thought it was balanced. The original powerjack had 25% extra damage and 75 health on kill in exchange for no random crits. The Blutsauger had the same thing where it was 3 hp on hit but can't random crit.

The back scratcher doesn't need to be buffed, it's one of those sidegrades that's already incredibly powerful that people don't really know about.
I have very little respect for people who bind crouch twice to their spacebar
Makes me wonder if valve can even fix the hitbox issues that it causes

I love the rake but I don't get why it has a damage bonus
the big deal is about the increased / decreased healing. The damage is just "there". It's even 5% bigger than the skullcutter.
Pro players that pub stomp.
I actually feel like crap when a server clears because of me.
I'm no pro, but it happens frequently when i play scout, and actually also happened again like an hour ago. My friend who was also in the server said i should be proud of it, but the truth is i dont and i just wanna play the fucking game.
Sometimes i feel awkward and unwanted when i do good or get a big streak when I should be having fun and not caring. It gets a bit disheartening when the opposite team decides they had enough and players slowly trickle out of the server. I know its me thats doing it too, because I'm always "that guy" at the top of the scoreboard with a ridiculous amount of points or sometimes even high dominations. That's why i'm starting to play medic more
If it's just one person it's annoying but manageable. If it's two or three plat teammates that refuse to be on opposite teams it makes the server unbearable to be on.
Pro players that pub stomp.
I don't mind it if it's just a guy who happens to be really good destroying the other team, but when they're all stacking on one team and spawncamping, it's just awful.

Bonus points if they all have matching names.
It doesn't really help that TF2's entire autobalance system practically encourages one team to be significantly better than the other.
Good matches on Valve servers are really rare because of it
Because according to Valve, stalemates are the worse possible outcome in TF2. Autobalance just ensures even team numbers, maps like payload are biased in favor of one team because of respawn timers, team scrambling seems to just switch every other player etc.
It is likely never to be fixed and if there is a close match, it is in spite of the autobalance system.
I've always hated the "team with more points wins when map time runs out". More so considering the game generally has scrambled at least once by then and the people that actually earned the points aren't even on the "winning" team anymore.
We've almost burned out this thread with minor annoyances. Keep it up.
Just need one more good argument about nothing.
Alright, guys, this is it. It's almost time for a new Stuff that Annoys You thread. I've been waiting almost 5000 posts for this opportunity, and it's finally here.
We can finally make an MS Paint Edition thread again!
i'm glad this thread is going i'm sick of seeing that awful lenny face
Okay, guess i'll try and help speed up the death of the thread! Let's see...

I hate this thing so goddamn much, it's just a bad time whenever it shows up, and odds are, it will. I've had servers with 5+ pyros all using this piece of shit crutch. Disagree with me if you must, but i can't help but feel a pain in my heart when i see a gibus/phlog pyro.
One even explained they're using it because "they're not good at airblast" which is a fucking load of bull, in my opinion. You're saying you can't fucking right-click on a burning teammate to put them out? You don't even need to exclusively try and be offensive with the airblast, it's just a really useful support mechanic.
You should play with it yourself. So much fun.
