I don't have a wired controller so I have to ask, is there any difference that people feel when playing it on the PC with a controller? (another question on my mind is how would you use things like air blast/ hauling or voice commands?)
There are two triggers you see. They're flipped though, right is primary fire and left secondary. Airblast and hauling are secondary fire as we all know. Building and disguising takes more clicks, switching weapons is a pain. Some functions like voice commands I've yet to discover (most likely never will it's a horrendous experience).

I think I might have mentioned this before but I know on one server I found on console voice commands were assigned to the d-pad (left was z, up was x, right was c) and down let you choose the one you wanted to say. Also, could you describe the disguising/building thing? It takes me like 2 seconds to go to build and then place a sentry.
Well don't you have to pay for internet and a computer too? Anyway I was just on and surprisingly most people told me that it was because they didn't like the p2w/le lenny face things in the game. Which, well, I guess I can see their point.
You pay for an xbox, an you're paying for internet regardless. So it's two different things considering you don't pay to use steam
I think I'm done with this game for a while, it's been a pretty frustrating experience anymore and just not fun in general Blatantly stupid weapons that'll never get fixed, meanwhile Valve nerfs things that are fine the way they are, bind spamming subhuman scum that fills up the chat with toxicity, getting stuck on a team of scrubs against a really stacked team, usually using said blatantly stupid weapons, and the fact that I only play this game for the items anymore and I can't even do that because I am in a server for a solid two hours and never find a single thing, yet some dude who just joined gets three items in about an hour. I'll probably end up coming back at some point, but if this job thing works out I won't even have the time for this shit anymore, which is in my opinion, a good thing

Scroll down to disguise kit. Use disguise kit as a console menu, I think it's navigated with d-pad. Pick disguise. By the time you're done you're out of cloak. Building/destruction PDA is one package so that's nice. Still sucks though.
I love using the analogue movement to fuck with people as scout but otherwise it's a clunky, limited experience.
Horrible experience where an extremely talented soldier took offense to me killing him 3 or 4 times as a heavy, just kept spamming "sick heavy plays" while just absolutely tunnel visioning the hell out of me, completely ignoring my team just absolutely raining death on me. My team wasn't very good, and this guy was top notch. I don't know what he was doing on a Valve server but it was to the point that I had to just stop playing because I couldn't get more than a few feet out of spawn before getting killed and my team couldn't do anything. I just wanted to relax and play heavy for a couple hours before bed, why did this guy have to just get utterly ass blasted enough to torment me for two maps? [editline]10th February 2015[/editline] It's not that I mind him being that good, it's just the toxicity of people who will spam down anyone who they disagree with.

Never really got why building/destroy were separated in PC TF2. On topic: When the entire team is literally standing around the control point while it's being capped. It's a suicide mission but it'll still buy our team a couple of seconds.
I hate most of the Scout's weapons. Like, yeah Scout is a class that needs powerful weapons as he has a small ammount of HP. But giving Scout the power to make push people 10 kilometers away while dealing mini-crits on their face then getting a small health kit just because they killed a 10 HP Heavy is so unsatisfying. If you do not recall the combo i am talking about. It's Force-A-Nature, Crit-A-Cola and The Candy Cane. Which is the bane of any class' existence.
Getting sick to death of people spamming binds on my servers - just end up muting them for a day or 3. They add me saying 'omg theyre so funny ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)'

(I think it was !permame) Couldn't you do the same thing with lenny faces?

I don't think the actual config file and plugin support those letters, i'd have to make up regex but i don't know anything about it
I believe it does but it excludes the ( ) so it ends up like (words)
When in mvm, trying to collect money as a scout and the money does the thing you know the loop zoop swirly shit where it slingshots around like scouts got a weak gravitational field and it fucking shoots off elsewhere, be it on a roof or behind a structure, resettling itself This is the primary reason I miss cash, because money I thought I had collected was actually swiftly delivered to the other end of the map thanks to some garbage mechanic. I've witness it happen and I know better now, but it still gets frustrating as hell, and to top it off its effect is worse the faster you can run
I believe it does but it excludes the ( ) so it ends up like (words)
You could always pass it through a parameter which adds an extra bracket on each end so it would end up like ((*face*)) or sterilise it and remove the brackets altogether. I'm thinking along the lines of how I program so I'm not entirely sure my suggestion can be done in a server plugin (never done it before).

This- [t]http://i.imgur.com/hM0nn5F.png[/t] Who the fuck reserves a space on a server?
This- [t]http://i.imgur.com/hM0nn5F.png[/t] Who the fuck reserves a space on a server?
Mods, admins, donators, server owners Just to list a few.
https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=630204 - is the plugin I use
What is your server like? How populated is it usually? I'd pay top dollar to get on a populated good server where people are banned for the damn lenny faces.
https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=630204 - is the plugin I use
Skimming it, all I could really think you could do with the lenny face is: Replace the brackets (and face) with just the face then punish. That should cover people who don't use brackets AND those who try and cheat the system by using just the eyes etc. Something like:
"Censor" { "LennyBlock" { "chatpattern" "( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 'CASELESS' 'EXTENDED'" "warn" "Don't be a douche" "replace" "° ͜ʖ ͡°" "punish"*ban*" } "LennyBlock-cont" { "chatpattern" "° ͜ʖ ͡° 'CASELESS' 'EXTENDED'" "punish"*ban*" } }
honestly don't know if that'll work but you get the idea.
It looks like it only works for one Lenny face arrangement. I know that people tend to use variations, frustrating efforts to manually hard code them out.
It looks like it only works for one Lenny face arrangement. No one will use the ʖ or ͜ symbols normally unless they're putting up some ascii cancer shit.

Fighting a combat medic, his health is obviously low, time to finish him off. NOPE, LOL RANDOM CRIT UBERSAW. Who decided random crits were a good idea? The same guy who designed the Sticky nerf in the L&W update?
your first mistake was getting anywhere near a medic brandishing his melee because they crit literally all day every day
Seems like a common occurrence for me when I know a heavy is going to come around a corner so I begin to retreat and "attempt" to ride his bullet knockback to push me quicker. Nope, always spreadshot crits. And it seems to always be the Brass Beast users that get them.
your first mistake was getting anywhere near a medic brandishing his melee because they crit literally all day every day
I'm less afraid of medic crits and more of their rubber 30 foot stretching arms
I'm less afraid of medic crits and more of their rubber 30 foot stretching arms
This. Medics seem to just magically oustretch their arms and crit me from a mile away.
This. Medics seem to just magically oustretch their arms and crit me from a mile away.
Good. Medics deserve these crits after all the shit they go through with teammates in casual servers who don't want to protect them or play as a team.

But your ping will be over 100+
