I fucking hate always ending up on some bullshit team where I have to fucking carry these useless shits with no skill or basic situational awareness and the other team is stacked more than a fucking porn star and nobody ever votes yes on the scrambles and I can't get any traction because my team is always wiped and it's just fucking awful.
It is pretty funny when the same people who go "lol baddies trying to scramble git gud :^)" scramble vote themselves the instant they get on the bad team.
It drives me insane when people say "Anything is OP if you are good!"
I never thought highly of the Ambassador until I faced a botter using it today. He was shooting jumping scouts out of the air from across the map. Never before has a spy been such a threat.
So apparently when I installed an SSD in my computer Steam Guard got the idea that I was logging in from a new computer. The result of this? No trading for 2 weeks.
Thanks, Valve. I didn't want to give my friend any TF2 items for his birthday or anything. :l

Also if you look at those stats, if only I lived 1 second longer...

Oh for fucks sake. I'm installing a new SSD (850 Evo - 250GB) tomorrow as my main 2TB drive is starting to die methinks (PC randomly turns off, as if I've yanked the power out the back- not sure if it's HDD, PSU or at worst, mobo (which is 6 years old)).
Thanks VALVe.

I didn't know achievement servers enforced ping limits
Joining a server that's playing a map I like, then the second I join everyone votes to change to a shit map.
Joining a server and having the map change without vote is a bad enough thing on it's own
I'll be honest here and apology in advance for the tex wall, but I don't really like anything from the "modern" Team Fortress 2
I know this isn't going to be a popular opinion here, but I don't really like MvM
Don't get me wrong, the robots' design is as charming as it can be and facing off against overpowered opponents and carefully managing your strategy and priorities is some kind of fresh air. Thing is, playing the same waves over and over again starts to get boring after a while, mores at harder difficulties, where the effort you can give the whole thing provides little pay off (it's the same reason I hate with a passion the Dota 2's New Bloom event, which, true to Valve's pve in a pvp scenario tradition, is about an overpowered boss and your team trying to survive as long as possible to get some kind of reward). Of course, the usual "Stop having fun" players plague the whole thing too, tour of duty or not
I also don't understand the whole tickets and "official MvM mode" thing. While I can get why people would spend money to acces harder waves, why would you spend it hoping to recive loot? As far as I know, the loot is entirely randomize: so good luck actually trying to get something for your class or one of those rare Australium or Botkiller weapons everyone wants with a passion (and I find ugly as shit, so much I'd send the designer to a psychiatrist and download a mod which'd totallye dit them out of my view)
But to everyone its own, I suppose. The real issue is that nearly all the most recent updates for Team Fortress 2 are revolving around the co-op mode, while I don't see the same amount of effort on the multiplayer side. True, they are releasing for testing two maps which I hope will be a part of a major update (no matter how I actually feel about them), but it has been several months now. In this time frame, they didn't release any new map for existing modes (doomsday would really benefit from that as a mode) and they pulled out some the community was expecting (see the whole End of the Line controversy)
In the meantime, I have to play on private servers instead of the official ones because they fucked up how they read mods and there is no fix on the horizon. Granted, I usually dwell on skial.com servers, which are close to vanilla without any premium shenaningans, but they have problems on their own
(Namely, they tend to prefer dustbowl above any map whatsoever, and we all know what it's like playing there, especially if you are on BLUE. Also, they love ctf maps, which aren't a favorite of mine due to:
- Nearly all the players playing like they are on a deathmatch and not capping ever
- At least a dozen of engineers between the two teams building nests that are bound to create an infinite stalemate
Or the two things together)
Also, what the hell is the supposed purpose of strange weapons if achievements servers are freely accessible to everyone? And why people would like to carry around festive weapons all year? But agian, I'm calling my personal tastes on this last one
EDIT: I also forgot to rant about the new kool kids toys, the killstreak weapons. Let's pretend I did, ok?

That's where you stopped making sense. The last update that even featured anything remotely targeted towards MVM was Two Cities which was over a year ago. EOTL, L&W, and the latest christmas update didn't even have anything relating to MVM in the hidden notes.
I was mostly talking about adding new maps and such, but you got me alright

What about Asteroid, and CactusCanyon?
It has been a while now, hasn't it?
I didn't know achievement servers enforced ping limits
The server that booted me was a MVM server. The stats themselves have been there for years, I just noticed the longest life thing. No clue where I got it from since I don't idle.
What the fuck kind of ping limit is 150. That's ridiculous.
What the fuck kind of ping limit is 150. That's ridiculous.
Really? If my ping ever goes past 90 I start to jump around for other players and it really annoys them. People have tried to kick me for having a ping over 45 because I was 'cheating'. TRUST ME, I don't think I'd actively seek out high ping.

There's a serious problem there then. You shouldn't start jumping about until like 250, sometimes even 300. 100-200 is NOT a high ping.
My internet is poop so my ping likes to hang around 200 - 300 a lot. I doubt the new FCC ruling will change anything but I can hope.
I usually play on Valve servers anyway, I don't like private servers because they're overloaded with plugins and like to shame you for playing with friends (Mr. Someguy is trying to stack the teams!!!!!1). I went on a private server recently because I wanted to play Convoy and it turned out to just be incredibly annoying, sounds playing constantly, flashy text, micspammers, laaag. It just ended up being a brief and very annoying experience.

I think you have really bad luck picking out community servers. Most annoying thing I find are semi low ping limits and reserved slots for donators.
I hate all that HLstatsX bullshit that spams up the chat feed while I'm trying to type to people

Well, it was the only server running Convoy, which I wanted to play. The only other I've been on lately ended up being 32p instant respawn 2fort, no time limit. It was pretty horrible as well. This game was not tooled for 32p instant respawn...

100-200 is unplayable bruh what are you talking about
if you're playing above 60 you're gonna have a hard time on projectiles, above 100 and hitscan becomes next dimensional
pubstompers who talk crap and target you.
luckily, they're easily discarded with a good argument, as they usually have the mental capacity of your average 4th grader.

I'm still trying to predict my shots constantly with hitscans on under 100 servers. I'm too used to higher pings.
150 is tolerable you can still do your jumps and other soldier duties. But when it reaches 200 or above it becomes so delayed that I can't even get off the ground when rocket jumping.
Nothing like getting shot around corners by heavies with 150+ ping.
I've been playing soldier forever with no issue at 150 ping for like years now, what are you talking about?
it's "no issue" to you because you haven't felt the difference
I've been playing soldier forever with no issue at 150 ping for like years now, what are you talking about?
Clearly you've never been below 90 then because it's pretty noticeable
What I hate most in laggy jerks are the good Snipers.
If they can line up a shot fast enough as they poke around a corner, there's literally nothing you can do about it; by the time you see them stepping into sight, the shot has already registered.

In pretty much all online games I play I have over 100 ping.
It isn't that bad unless you get a lot of packet loss.
