It has worked just fine every time I've tried it, but I guess because it's not "meta", it's not good. Thank you for showing me the error of my ways, that my own successes do not count because I did not follow the almighty metagame. Yet for not following the meta, I've still done better than any Brass Beast Heavy's I've seen. They don't do much more damage but end up tanking every single rocket, grenade, and arrow headed their way and die because they can't move while using it. They also can't snag giant scouts, who as a result keep running through our lines and then someone has to try and chase them all the way back to base.
As a 130 tour i can tell you just because things arent meta doesnt mean they arent fun to use or cant be used effectively. However, it's also an extremely uninformed opinion to imply things that arent meta are better then meta. I hate the meta, and i would any day of the year say stock outclasses natasha. It's fine to use natasha, but saying it's his best option shows that your opinions are based around your personal experience rather than factual evidence
If my own personal experience is successful each time, then what's the problem? I'm not saying it's better than meta, but I've never had to stop using it because it wasn't working. It does exactly what I expect it to do, and I have fun with it.
Thinking about the meta is pretty meta.
Not really TF2 related, but recently I wasn't really capable of playing the game due to living in a house with three people which constantly use skype and shitty WLAN. Sweet 302 in Servers which lay in Frankfurt.
Most people get into comp by joining/making a Iron/Steel team together with friends and eventually get better at the game to continue into silver and so on. Get your tf2 buddies together and try out iron or steel. Comp TF2 is really fun with friends and very rewarding if you're any good but that doesn't matter as much
I have no friends who play TF2 wat do
I have no friends who play TF2 wat do
Make. My best pen friend I met on a Valve server.
I have no friends who play TF2 wat do
Just show your friends you have what its all about. I've shown most of my friends it and they all like it. And if you don't have any friends, just hop on any old server and chances are you'll meet a nice guy or girl every now or then that'll become friends with you, happens to me all the time.
I have no friends who play TF2 wat do
Do what I do; collect a bunch of hats, pile 'em up (put them in a roughly humanoid shape if you're feeling ambitious), and let it sit by you while you play.
I'll be your friend

I don't know what's worse, hackers or the potato teams who don't input a vote option and ask, "How is the Sniper who entered the server 5 minutes ago who's topping the scoreboard and twitching violently hacking?" Also why does my computer suddenly run like shit after closing TF2? It runs fine while playing tf2, and closing any other game, whether it be an easy to run indie game or full AAA title, but TF2 decides to go the full potato on that.
People that seem to have this idea that all custom maps are just cp_orange clones and trade maps, or that all mods are exploits and MLP skins. Fuck that generalization, there are tons of amazing mods that fix bugs and improve the quality of the game, and amazing maps that feel like Valve-quality if not better.
Quickplay doesn't show custom maps, but it does show VSH, War3 mods, and Randomizer servers, and I'm not sure if that's intentional.

In EU, nobody knows wtf is voting and why is it suddenly blocking their view. Voting rarely passes, no matter what's the subject. Language barriers.
Voting usually goes through on the stockholm servers though
I REALLY hate airblast-happy Pyros, when you heal em as a Medic. You could tell him to burn these enemies off when he is ubered but noooo, he'd rather stay still and try to reflect projectiles for "l3e7 reflect kill" and both fail miserably AND waste my uber. You are invulnerable at that time, go burn the world dammit!
Voting usually goes through on the stockholm servers though
And UK ones. Although on UK servers, players seem to just blindly vote yes, regardless of the vote. Hell, they'd agree to kick themselves if there was a vote against them. They probably wouldn't even realise until they're met with the kick screen.
I love shotgunning these kinds of Pyros as Soldier. Get your finger out of M2 son.
I have a shotgun of my own, private
I love just walking towards airblast pyros not firing until they do airblast me and shoot them in the gap. It's so funny
Haunted item restrictions. Gosh they piss me off, some of those items look really good. I especially wish Medic's Einstein cosmetic wasn't haunted quality. It's too bad. Okay, sure - maybe not all the haunted items should be changed to be visible at all times like the other cosmetics, but there are few, like the Einstein, that would be fine.
That you can't disable the one week wait after purchase of an item off the Mann Co. store or off the steam market like you could disable the confirmation on trade request email
That you can't disable the one week wait after purchase of an item off the Mann Co. store or off the steam market like you could disable the confirmation on trade request email
Except that'd ruin the point of the one week wait, just like the E-mail being disabled. The one week wait is to prevent people who have your e-mail/credit card/account from selling everything, same with the E-mail (except on a lesser scale, only preventing bots/scammers that got your account from phishing). This is purely devil's advocate as both of those functions annoy the fuck out of me for multiple reasons and could be done much better.
was fighting against a demoman and a soldier, making clever use of cover to take as little damage as possible while continuously peeking out and firing at them with my rocket launcher, they were both on extremely low health and I decide to go for one last shot shot for the double kill, peek around the corner, finger slams down on M1 aaaaaaand I eat a crit rocket to the face.
Sounds like an average encounter in tf2.
While playing medic, soldiers who forget about the peculiar perk of the Quick Fix while rocket jumping

I was looking into Pyro cosmetics, and really liked the look of the Raven's Visage... Only to find out nope, can only be worn during Halloween/full moons.
According to Valve, this is Halloween only. [t]https://wiki.teamfortress.com/w/images/a/ab/Terracotta_Trooper_set.png[/t] Yep.
It was uploaded as a halloween item, so Valve added it as a halloween item. Sure, Valve probably could've look that over and said "Woah, this should be an actual item", but the creator had fair warning that this is what would happen. [sp]i got an apology from whoever made it i forget who for making such a mistake, so i am at peace[/sp]
