I was terrible, even though most things are about the same, I was so bad and everything felt different and I'm crying hold me. But really, it'd be like playing CS:GO and going back to 1.6 or Source for me at this point. So similar yet so very different. I can't say I'd dislike someone for something like that personally.

The fact that the tutorial mode in TF2 is horrible and it will never be finished. The Soldier one is fine and dandy (Although it is missing the rocket jumping part) but others?....not.

i had to deal with a spy who was constantly on a teleporter loop, domed me by telefrag, used spycicle, and no idea with the watch, not to mention spychecking always failed because he never died thanks to the spycicle imagine being domed this way

if he got kills with telefrags and never used his watch then that guy should get a medal

It's bad enough when one of the biggest server hosting companies in Chile is ran by an asshole with an inflated ego, that thinks he can do whatever he wants. But when you start a independent server and gets DDoS attacked for no real reason other than "I don't like your server" Is crossing the god damn line. And I don't what to do in this point, There's no evidence to prove that those assholes are making the DDoS attacks, And even IF I had proof, It would change anything, Most people already dislike him and his servers, But they play there because there's little to no other alternative, he will not be fired from the company, No matter how bad his reputation will be, and the police won't do a thing because "LOL, Internet drama, Get out of here kid" Even if we are wasting our money to keep the god damn server up. Fuck you Knil.

The interesting thing to me is that a while ago Valve added a description to the stock wrench to say "use this on your buildings!!" Like, if you're going to give up on the tutorial, at least do that for other weapons. Why not add a description to the Medi Gun saying "heal your teammates with mouse1, and build Ubercharge - when the Ubercharge meter is full, mouse2 activates invulnerability for 8 seconds" Hell why not go all the way and list every weapons functions and hidden stats on them? "The Flare Gun crits on burning targets", "The Righteous Bison can ignite Huntsman arrows", "The Bat only does 35 damage"

i've never seen new players not understanding the concept of building. yeah they place their stuff poorly but they understand what the wrench is for. valve looks more and more stupid because the original people who worked on tf2 are long gone. the random joes in charge are rediscovering the game everytime they feel like working on it.

reposted from 4chan because holy shit this guy was salt incarnate, also text limits suck So i met a fun server it mods like shapeshift (you can turn into a different class on the spot every 5 seconds) and bunny hop along side the usual !rtd stuff met some cool folks who bailed after the server crashed so only a few people stayed and the map was that OOT Hyrule map was a force a nature scout finding out how to use the bunny hop when some scout came by and shot at me and we had a 1v1 and i ended the fight with a crit (he had no hp anyway) usual crying and i went back to bunny hopping and he came back and i killed him again, he called the FAN a crutch and he threw a fit about why its a crutch but i just went back to bunny hopping, next time was different he bunny hopped back again as a scout, but then through he turned into a pyro (he saw me use the pretty boy) but he couldn't W+M1 for shit and i killed him and proceeded to call him out for it >I turned into a rocket jumper soldier and went elsewhere on the map and noticed the guy went spectator, i thought the guy was just like me and wanted to bunny hop in peace, but he went back to the enemy team so i rocket jumped into a hiding spot and watch him bunny hop below me and decided to let him chill and join the rest of the server (everyone else was friendly) and a while later he killed me and not even before my body hit the ground instantly hit the laugh taunt. It gets sweaty, didn't really care about the whole thing and tried FAN jumping around the map to practice it, the same guy went spectator again to find me and went amby spy to try and kill me (didn't hit me once) and i just did my own thing and when a random teammate tried attacking him he went heavy (tomislav even!) everytime we got close he shapeshifted into a pyro and went beserk, anytime he killed me he muttered barely contained salt into the mic, i wanted to stay and just watch him jerk himself off but the kids ruined it so i bailed after he used every mod in the server to kill me and everyone who got in his way just because i killed him on the internet Edit: fuck i forgot to add there was this nice kid way younger then this guy who took it better when i killed him when i should of died.

Spies that can use ambassadors well are a scary sight but I have a more interesting story. I played on a server that had the hidden stat of ambassadors doing 800 damage on headshots. Something is wrong when your team of six is stuck in spawn because of one spy.

that reminds me that the stogie and the cockswain's novelty mutton could used to be put together and the soldier could have 3 smoke effects at once with the Gentle Munitionne of Leisure, but now the stogie and its mech varient conflict with the cockswain's so now my old smoky joe loadout is gone forever
