You're having no fun though, which is the objective of the game.
Who are you to decide other people's fun?
I'm sorry. If your idea of fun is sitting on top of a sentry for 30 minutes not interacting with the game in any way, then yes, go ahead by all means.
I'm sorry. If your idea of fun is sitting on top of a sentry for 30 minutes not interacting with the game in any way, then yes, go ahead by all means.
You're using that argument for a dumb purpose. Try using that argument for friendlies that literally just walk around and get killed, never so much as pressing M1 except if they have a sandvich equipped. Personally I could easily have fun in places like 2Fort as an Engineer holding Intel, seeing how good I am at Engineer when suddenly a Pyro and spy double team me, or trying to deal with a pesky lone Soldier edging and spamming out my Sentry.
That's not usually what happens when I play turtle engi on 2fort. Then again, usually means in this context usually two years ago the way I remember it.
no fun allowed
I've tried getting into this game, and there's one thing for certain that's really grinding my gears. It anally anguishes me when Medics become a die-hard pocket to a top-scoring player or a player with flashy, expensive items (Lookin' at you, Heavies with Australium miniguns. Don't even deny it.) Can you show the little guys some love too, please? A few seconds of clicky clicky is all most people need.
I'm sorry. If your idea of fun is sitting on top of a sentry for 30 minutes not interacting with the game in any way, then yes, go ahead by all means.
It really depends on the flow of the match. It honestly isn't a lot of fun when there is nobody pushing the intel because they are too busy getting stomped, but when you have matches that are actually balanced and the other team actually pushes your intel then it's pretty fun.
Ugh, the update just made Mannpower even more unfun by adding in Melee crits and a ridiculous crit buff if the teams are "unbalanced".
A Demoknight with the Knockout pickup is the most broken thing ever, he's basically unstoppable. The new grappling stuff is cool, but a Demoknight with free crits, doubled health, and no knockback is unforgivable
but only shows history in Garry's Mod from the last few days I've been playing with friends :suicide:
This happens in reverse for me when I play Gmod, it shows a bunch of TF2 favorited servers. You just click refresh/stop refresh then refresh
This happens in reverse for me when I play Gmod, it shows a bunch of TF2 favorited servers.
You deserved it
Well they could have you know Not taken the teleporter over and over expecting it to suddenly not teleport them behind enemy lines. Once is understandable, but the same people kept taking it and not saying a word.
Well they could have you know Not taken the teleporter over and over expecting it to suddenly not teleport them behind enemy lines. Once is understandable, but the same people kept taking it and not saying a word.
You're one of those "OMG IM JUST HAVIN FUN STOP BEIN FUN POLICE" guys, aren't you? Those assholes that do stupid things contributing in no positive way, making excuses because MUH FUN or whatever. Just don't be a waste of a player slot, it's not that hard. If you wanna make a funny teleporter, join Blu, get behind Red, and put a tele in a weird spot. Suddenly it's funny AND you're actually contributing!!! woah!!! Forgive if I'm biased but I don't quite like waste of playerspaces, especially when the team is losing and the guy could be replaced by somebody who actually wants to play the game instead of jacking off. If you wanna be an asshole, go on a trade server or an idle server. Hell, there are servers where you don't even have to play TF2.

Pretty much acting like a late night security guard at a museum. While sitting there in-game at my nest until something happens, I would literally IRL put my feet up and read a magazine or something. I was late night 2Fort security.
I did that for a while, until I started checking my console logs and realizing people were saying "hello?" and then leaving I felt so ashamed ;_;
i once played with chat off (it still logs it but it doesnt appear on screen) as medic at the end of the game and everyone left i checked the chat, apparently my heavy was talking to me the whole time and i never heard him. "hey doctor" "careful we'll wait here" "nice dude" "we got this" i felt so depressed afterwards, like i was never listening
For all the bind spamers and other annoyances I can never bring myself to turn off chat all the way for fear of missing just one person actually saying something useful or friendly.
Well they could have you know Not taken the teleporter over and over expecting it to suddenly not teleport them behind enemy lines. You got punished (quite rightly) so learn from the experience and don't do it again. It might have worked for me in the past when I've done it to those damn Lenny spammers but it might have also been coincidence that they stopped spamming around the same time.
I once had a teleporter in the enemy's vents as a funnel for spies to wreck havoc on the defense nest they set up in their intel. Skial destroyed the exit because it thought it was a trap teleporter. Fuck you.
when my team is already getting steamrolled, and a friend joins the server on the enemy team you want some friendly competition and that's fine but all you're doing right now is giving me more reason to leave because now on top of dealing with this soldier medic pair topscoring i now have to deal with you giving me full attention
Okay, it's been over a year for this to keep happening, after hours of not playing for a while, I load up TF2 and check out my Scout's, Pyro's, Demoman's, Engineer's, Medic's, and Spy's loadouts, and each of their Loadout Ds have cosmetics and/or Weapons unequipped. An improvement is after the last update no taunts unequip from my Scout or Medic anymore. But even when I re-equip everything, after I exit TF2 and come back hours later (as I said), same shit happens.

Well, I had a competitive scrim scheduled against someone at 9:30 EST today. Then they canceled. So now it's three hours until video games with a team of people I've heard the voices of, and there's nobody we're playing against. Shit.
The world animation for the eyelander annoys me greatly, whereas the viewmodel swings side to side normally and the crit animation swings overhead the worldmodel is purely overhead and it makes it annoying to judge just how far to the demo's side you need to be to avoid the melee attack. Actually the overall lack of different animations for crit melees on world models for weapons that have different animations for crits on viewmodels annoys me.
