Mann up servers went to hell these couple of weeks. Is either low tours kids who only know how to whine and be keyboards warriors or high tour jerkbags. Is this because of spring break or something?
I don't like getting pocketed because then I feel like I'm relying on them, this especially goes for when I play heavy
you should see with +40% firing speed in mvm
he just pokes stuff with the hilt guard
Spy's knife at 95% additional firing speed, in third person. A must see.
at least its not like pyros meelee'ing people with the degreaser.
I haven't played this in a long time but seeing my younger brothers play this and use unlocks just because they are unlocks and that means they are better than the default weapons.
People who use demoman and only use their stickybomb launcher. I honestly hate this.

It's better at offensive combat and crowd control than the GL, tbh. Same thing goes for combo weapons such as the degreaser + flaregun/reserve shooter. If it's better at combat, why settle for less?

Half if not most pyros I met using the reserve shooter uses it as a primary weapon and wants to constantly try and combo on me. If they don't push me up against a wall or somehow work their airblast magic to where I can stay right in front of their face so they can compensate the fact that the reserve shooter is a "shotgun" they might as well just m1 me to death instead of making futile attempts of doing 7-10 damage per shell.

If I get pocketed by a random medic I transform into a mother duck that's adorably overprotectice towards their little ducklings, and if the medic dies I feel guilty about it. Even if they get sniped due to bad positioning or something else that wasn't really my fault.
Equipping the gunboats to jump around like an idiot seems to transform most of my team into classes that can't really be pocketed either, and when all I have to defend the med with is my not so crisp rockets it's a recipe for disaster.

Every time a Medic thinks it's a good idea to start pocketing me with the Quick-Fix while I'm playing Scout, I start doing the most ridiculous maneuvers to get to the front lines.
A simple rollout turns into "Let's jump on every railing and take uncommon detours".

Quickiebomb Launcher is the weapon that actually made demos want to use their stickies more than their grenades. Which might be the reason i see people with Ali Baba's Wee Booties or Bootlegger arround with no shield or sword of any kind, because Sticky Launcher seems to beat Grenade Launcher in any way.
People use stickies because they are superrior to grenades and people uses Bootlegger or Ali Baba's Wee Booties cuz they remove what seems to be an useless weapon and gives you health.
any demo that doesnt use his GL when he can is a bad demo

quickiebomb is inferior though
I will never forgive Valve for what they did to the Mangler and Carbine
So a Medic was pocketing me when I was a heavy and had a full uber while we were defending. BLU was about to capture our last point so I tell the Medic to activate his ubercharge... So he uses the uber THEN HE STOPS HEALING ME AND FUCKING CONGAS INTO THEM
When people keep pestering me for not responding fast enough to their trade banter when I'm in the middle of a game and carrying the entire team.

People need to realize that the other person isnt going to respond immediately. Same goes with texting. They are not on their phones 24/7. Expect moments of silence.
the melee power up in mannpower
you can counter every other power up and instakill everybody and one shot sentries, why did valve think this a good idea
mannpower
Think you found your answer.
the powerup to counter all other powerups has no counter
with the whole "i latch on to you and theres shit you can do about it" mechanic makes it broken with extra bullshit on top and a side serving of large fries

Make that
"i latch on to you and theres no shit you can do about it apart from try to kill me before you bleed to death"

funny thing is that it leaves the target at 1 hp

Like ability draft in Dota 2, Mannpower is just a fun mode designed to make people feel overpowered minus the "FUN" part

Strawman argument.
Balance can still be maintained in a casual, for fun atmosphere and fun can co-exist with skill-based, competitive gameplay
Proof that just throwing things in without considering gameplay balanced to make something fun for the "casual" crowd: Random crits as a mechanic, random tripping in Brawl
Only just found out first hand, that if you clear your browser's cookies and you have to re-authenticate Steam, you can't use Trade Offers for 7 days (or use the market) even though my desktop had been verified for 3 weeks (installed 8.1 on an SSD and had to re-install Steam) and fully working.
There goes any chance of getting a Cremator's Conscience any time soon. :suicide:
Admins that shrink their player model and/or give themselves weapons that have overpowered stats.
quickiebomb is inferior though
i haven't played TF2 in like, a year or two, is that just slang for the Sticky Launcher or is that an actual new weapon

I don't mind resizing or other goofy plugins so much if people are goofing off and it's not a serious server, but if it's in the middle of a serious game that's fucking lame.
But the OP weapons are always annoying and unfun as hell
Admins that shrink their player model and/or give themselves weapons that have overpowered stats.
It's worse when they're a miniscule Spy. Backstabs from nowhere and impossible to whack with a wrench if they start sapping your nest.
A mini-medic is useful though. Nigh impossible for Snipers to get at or Spys (Spies have to crouch to backstab them).

New Weapon.
Smissmas 2014: VALVe tweaked vanilla stickies so they have a damage ramp up depending on how long they're out. If they touch a surface, they instantly get 100% damage (which is useful because whenever I tried sticky spamming, they'd miss and hit the floor before I detonated).
The QuickieBomb Launcher's stickies 'fizzle' out after a few seconds and aren't affected by the damage ramp up among other things. Key points being - the QuickieBomb launcher is now the offensive portion of the vanilla Sticky Bomb launcher. You can't lay traps etc making it pretty useless for times when you want to juggle ubered medics etc.
Huh, that's pretty neat, people who never used the Sticky Launcher for traps can now even more effectively use it for offense.
Also I had no idea Smissmas even happened minus Mannpower, I thought that was the ONLY thing that happened.
