That being said, I wouldn't mind if it got nerfed since the last thing Pyro needs is a good melee weapon considering how close-range-based he is.

And it's value is entirely dependent on your opponents running the right classes for it to even make an impact other than neutering yourself. Powerjack is a universal tool, movement is always useful, healing is always useful. Even if you don't care about getting the heal on kill, you can still use it to move around. It's applicable against all classes and match-ups because there's never a time where moving faster when out of combat is a bad thing. And if for some reason you don't want to take the risk of taking a little more damage with it active, you can simply not take it out, it's that simple. Unlike every other Pyro melee (other than Fire Axe), it's attributes are never made less-effective or ineffective by the class lineup presented.

It's a weapon like the Short Circuit, or Pain Train or Sun-on-a-stick in that it's only good depending on the current situation and playstyle of the user. 90% of the time as Pyro I'm off running around roaming and reflecting shit for my team so the Jack is my weapon of choice. Sometimes, however, my team has 3 engies, we're stuck on last, and Spies are in abundance. When this is the case I'll switch to my Homewrecker and rack up a few sapper busts. Other than that almost any other melee is better. I just rarely use it because of my offensive style and short attention span from camping at an engie's base.

I hate those servers that display a pay2win style of tf2.[/QUOTE] That reminds me of a server i was on once, it had FOUR tiers of dontators: top tier was at £20 and was "admin" aka you gain admin powers like god and kick (higher rank contained what the lower ranks had) the tier at £15 was super vip which gave you trails and other cosmetic stuff, at £10 was vip it contained coloured chat and reserved slot; thats it and i saved the best till last. At £5 was "respected" what did it contain? Nothing but "admins will listen to you" imagine not being able to report a bug or cheater because you didnt give them a fiver!

A good admin knows that they need to listen to everyone and take both sides of the argument into consideration. Just because they donated five bucks and has a big ol' "RESPECTED" tag in their name does NOT mean in ANY way that they will use their powers wisely. Servers with admins like that should be burned.

There was a mod which fixed it, yes but we're talking about an official release. Yes, people here could do it in a couple of days but it's VALVe we're talking about here. They seem to drag their feet unless it's risking their business/money flow (look at how quickly the Giftapult glitch was fixed or the hotfix which allowed people to use the Store again after a recent update. It was 5-6 minutes after a major patch and a patch was already being issued to fix the store problem).
