Easy solution: Humor the little shit by setting a ridiculously-high buyout price.
If he bites, well he just traded for something at a silly markup so anything lost can be replaced easily (gifts notwithstanding). If he refuses, tell him to fuck off and find someone willing to sell for cheaper.
Really it's a win-win.
People who use backpack scanners. Someone actually joined a server I was playing on just to trade me for this hat I have. Even has the guts to put up a few craft and dirty hats thinking I'd be an easy target. First he didn't want to admit it but then he proceeded to tell me he was going for "dem quicksells"

Oddly enough I did that once, which that too led to me getting kick voted off the server...luckly the other guy too was kicked as the server had a rule of "no talking about trading" on play servers

What do you mean?
The reload ending animations for the mangler and black box still use the old pre-L&W idles thus causing the models to jerk back into the new idle animation.

like that one player who isnt as dumb as a gibus to keep falling for it but isn't as smart as an experienced player to look for you, i mean the person who is brainlessly looking for you purely out of the paranoia that you might be doing something

I shitstomped a shittalker on a server once. Didn't shittalk him, but I dominated him and then shut him down for the next seventeen lives he tried to counterclass me (didn't even counter-counter--he was just bad so I killed him anyway).
The guy heckled me for over an hour to a point that the entire server was pissed off at him (I thought it was a riot).
That guy hunted me down a week later just to shitpost on my profile.

It gets really bad when you end up dominating enough people or pissing them off to a point that you get a ZERG of those people. Like, a squadron of fuckers just all with the same agenda to kill you.

Every single server with under 100 ping right now is either a Valve server, a trade server, some stupid 24/7 fullcrits 2fort shite, or a furry/freak fortress/deathrun/dodgeball server.
I can't remember the last time I've been on an active, player-run TF2 server that wasn't clogged to death with bullshit server mods or terrible map cycles. What the hell happened to all of those? There used to be plenty of them.
I mean, I know there's a lot of American ones but I can't play anything that isn't in Asia, Australia or NZ because otherwise my internet connection has a heart attack.

I feel that pain, there's like 60 servers in the entire list every day (with 150 ping filter and non-full/empty filter) and most of them are mostly dead, 2fort, achievement, orange fullcrits, jailbreak, trade plaza , saxton hale and whatever garbage shitty minigames people are playing
I'm sick of being forced to play payload maps I don't like because there is 3 populated servers in total and 2 are full
achievement and trade servers shouldn't even exist anymore but there are still more of them than normal servers
The only really active ones that are worth half a damn now days are the Smurfy ones, and even they have a bunch of server mod crap on them, not that you can even find a slot on one half the time.
