Stuff that Annoys you in TF2: bind m1 say "( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" edition - Games

I remember I sold a fancy professional killstreak weapon to a guy for his unusual. 2 days later I got a message from him saying he regretted trading it and wanted it back. He said it was a very personal hat to him and was acting very impulsively when offering on it. I did really like the hat he gave me, so I wasn't going to reverse the trade. He offered me a different unusual that was interesting but I didn't like as much and he kept begging and begging to get it back, even going so far as to add a bunch of haunted halloween stuff to sweeten the deal. I thought he really wanted back and emotional stuff and all that, so I let him put back the halloween stuff and do the trade just for the unusual. It left his backpack 5 hours later It took me 4 months to sell that fucking hat. TF2s playerbase is overall cancerous and being altruistic to it just means you'll get assfucked.

Why is it like a requirement to have a Hale's Own Black Box named some edgy shit to be a certified pubstomper, because if someone's got twice as many points as the next guy 2/3 of the time they have a Hale's Own Black Box.

I got scammed few days ago because of Steam Wallet promise, reported the guy twice with sufficient proof, checked few days later just to see that he's not banned yet. I don't know why did I fuck up so bad lately.

I'm starting to think that the true issue keeping me from enjoying Team Fortress 2 as much as I did before is the Valve servers deploying sv_pure1 I'll admit, nowadays I can't play the game without modding my cosmetics and weapons: it allows me to get incredibly good looking items while containing the costs, on top of me having my good deal of fun of making up "artistic" loadouts with the different mods around So from that day I was pretty much forced to play on community servers, which have a lot of ... "features" I find incredibly annoying (among all of those, the majority of the community servers adopt the "24/7 map" formula, which makes even the most interesting map get boring after a while. When I was a valve servers guy, I found myself playing on different maps per mode, which does wonders in making me interested into the game, learning the various levels' gimmick, paths and all) I can't see this problem of mine having a solution anytime soon

What keeps me playing the game is that I just start doing stupid crap and try to make the best out of it. Lately I've been full-on demoknighting on koth servers. And if I'm with my friend, we might do something like go widowmaker combat engineer with no buildings. Or uberchain with the quickfix and the solemn vow.

The real problem is when the same sniper is burning to death without meds or health around, and then throws his own jarate at you because he thinks you're a spy running towards him to shank him, and of courde then dies. Pyros who think they're hot stuff (no pun intended) because they use the degreaser + reserve shooter combo. I've used it before I hit 1,000 hours and pre-axtinguisher nerf. It literally felt like I was turning on cheat mode.

Sadly I still don't do half bad despite being more fire happy than airblast happy.

I really hate that I haven't found a hat in a while. I get lots of free gifts and stuff, but never the good feeling of finding a random hat you never even thought of buying or so.

Well, it's true that most are only active for a few hours in the evening or only on certain days, but it's been like that with community servers that aren't 24//7 2Fort/Dustbowl/Turbine/Trade/Orange for a while now. Plus, evenings have always been the busiest time of day for TF2, it's been like that even well before the game went f2p. You could play on Valve servers or whatever else you manage to find that doesn't disable any mods in less busy hours of the day and check the community ones on evenings or weekends, unless the sv_pure 0 is really the sole most important reason you play TF2. Expecting rotation pubs to be full 8+ hours per day or any time you happen to want to play the game is a pipe dream these days, tbh. But it's only getting worse since the art of using the server browser, favoriting servers and joining their Steam Groups to be notified of server-filling events is rare. The more QP conditions players to choose Valve-servers only purely because of one-click convenience (despite all the shortcomings), the less traffic community ones get (even the decent ones), the more arguments to stick to Valve-only the majority of players has. Really is a vicious circle. Though, regarding sv_pure, I don't understand how it's not possible for Valve to change the system so that only certain settings that enable wallhacks and the like are blacklisted on official servers while harmless stuff like custom weapon skins and hitsounds remain allowed. Seems pretty easy to implement.

I can't enjoy this game anymore, I still enjoy the story, the Facepunch community and the lore but after playing game after game of unbalanced teams, pub stompers, over powered ro annoying laodouts, unfair team stackers, shit talkers and people making it nearly impossible to do anything I can't be fucked anymore, It just frustrates me. Now to look into selling my BP

Playing mannpower. Someone says "the fuck guys stop capping, this is the most casual gamemode you can play and you're taking it seriously" i tell him this is a gamemode and we can cap if we want he calls me a fag and starts spamming lenny faces and binds with another guy on the other team i don't even know anymore

Play Mannpower. My team's down 8 caps to 1, so I gain some crits, do pretty decently, and amass a decent killstreak with a stregnth buff. Suddenly it's 9-5 and I've amassed a decent killstreak. I'm carrying this team to victory. Then out of fucking nowhere 3 fucking soldiers run in shitting on me with crits and cap 30 seconds later. I know why pity crits and stuff were a thing, but why give a team 1 cap from victory pity crits? Welp time to neglect that gamemode for another update.

I don't have a problem with pubstompers or that sort of shit because I always see them as a wall to overcome when playing a game. I probably gonna join a comp team with my friend that mains medic so there's that as well. I think it will be a nice chance after playing only pubs for a while.

Apparently this fixes it? I've been getting the same issue on Barnblitz.
