I really miss how the bottle used to break on a crit swing.
the scottish handshake was clearly superior as it did not break so with that demomen around the world can have a hard-earned drink after a devastating crit kill without the worry of having nothing to drink due to the bottle breaking it was only a matter of time before other bottles copied the practice of making indestructible glass bottles for their drinks, but unfortunately molotovs went out of business or valve just hates fun idk
Trying to hit someone with melee *smack* no damage *smack* no damage *smack* no damage *crit sounds* he gets a crit and one shots me.
I really miss how the bottle used to break on a crit swing.
AFAIK Valve was going to fix it and also implement breaking for the Scottish Handshake after L&W but apparently they forgot about it completely...
Trying to hit someone with melee *smack* no damage *smack* no damage *smack* no damage *crit sounds* he gets a crit and one shots me.
the best thing about this is that when you get non-registering hits, it isn't just a single time it's always consecutive up to at least a second time before shit starts working again
I've noticed with the Caber that I have to hit a teammate with it first. Otherwise if I try to crouch and smack the floor, nothing will happen and it feels like I'm constantly missing the ground.
While we're on the subject of the Caber: Fuck the Caber. Few things are more frustrating than it in your average combat situation, especially caberknights.

People making censors for chats should replace their message with kind support Any message with Lenny equals "That's was nice, man. You're pretty good!" or other random kindness
People making censors for chats should replace their message with kind support Any message with Lenny equals "That's was nice, man. You're pretty good!" or other random kindness
It would just end up irritating after a while. If I'm honest, it would also look like sarcasm (since you can't truly distinguish between sarcasm and genuine meaning when just using text) and would make matters worse.
c_model in TF2 was a mistake from the start.
the way valve does it. The way gmod does it is pretty awesome. (cmodels are only for vmodels and allow multiple hands to use the same gun)
the way valve does it. The way gmod does it is pretty awesome. (cmodels are only for vmodels and allow multiple hands to use the same gun)
It would've made sense if the c_model arms would have cosmetic attachments on them. There is literally no reason Valve had to use them and just limits the creativity for weapon content overall.
the way valve does it. The way gmod does it is pretty awesome. (cmodels are only for vmodels and allow multiple hands to use the same gun)
It's also the way that L4D and CS:GO do it, so no clue why the fuck they did TF2 the way it is.

Loch is a prime example showing the tf2 team has no clue
I went the longest time without any bots and now I get this [t]http://puu.sh/hLHhf/18d14dbbec.png[/t]
Imagine Is they took the liberty launcher and give it a damage bonus instead of a penalty and 4 clip size. Loch is a prime example showing the tf2 team has no clue
splash damage though
You also just have to play a valve server and instawin
c_model in TF2 was a mistake from the start.
The only bad thing in c_models imo is the fact that they use shared animations. If they didn't, I'd call it the best idea Valve came with in TF2.
splash damage though
Exactly, the rocket launcher is built around splash damage while the grenade launcher is built around direct hits, making a grenade launcher that's better at direct hits is just making a better grenade launcher
Exactly, the rocket launcher is built around splash damage while the grenade launcher is built around direct hits, making a grenade launcher that's better at direct hits is just making a better grenade launcher
I sure wish I could aim
The only bad thing in c_models imo is the fact that they use shared animations. If they didn't, I'd call it the best idea Valve came with in TF2.
um no. it's the reason most guns were downgraded into ass for no purpose. I have to repost these again. bet you can't even imagine how the stickyjumper would look like with round and detailed shapes. the main perk of combineds is having multiple identical gun animations wielded by different arms. which isn't even used in tf2. the other perk is normalizing the model dropped on the ground and in the player's hand to be the same thing. which is completely irrelevant since the little performance save has been completely overshadowed by the bloated hats and effects added in through the ages.
RIP ScoRes.
RIP ScoRes.
What happened to the mediocre launcher?
re read hell-met's post.
Keys going for $2.55 even though they remain untradeable for longer, the occasional Australium getting sold for three cents, and just the general inanity of the steam market. Sometimes I think this is what the New York stock exchange would look like if it were run by babies.

I could fix the cmodels so they look like the vmodels again if you'd like.
c_model in TF2 was a mistake from the start.
Can I have an explanation what the difference between c_model is compared to view/world models?
