Medic is a nice class to have, and fun to play as when you're not forced to use kritzkrieg 24/7, but it's certainly not a neccessary class to complete a mission.

At least not the last time I touched anything intermediate or normal, which admittedly has been a little while.

I actually see people asking for medic a decent amount of times in intermediate Mann Up. Although I suppose it's your mileage may vary.

Whenever I play Gunslinger Engie I feel as if I'd be doing way better with any other wrench, even on offense.

The ones that always get me are the Engineers who treat minisentries like Lvl 3s, you can't plop down a lone mini on a point and go "Yes, this alone will stop a horde of Soldiers, Heavies, and Scouts that are inevitably heading this way." Also I really hate the main menu screen characters, they're so lazily done.

The "Offensive Engineer" misnomer. There is no offensive engineering, buildings are inherently stationary and thus it's impossible for them to directly encroach on a defensive hold. They are defensive buildings, their position defines where the divide between defense and no-man's land is. What people mislabel as "offensive engineering" is aggressively placing buildings inside no-man's land in order to transform it into a de-facto defensive position. No man's land is amorphous, it changes based on player positioning and the danger that lingers within, so it's wholly possible to transform it into a pseudo-defensive position until the comparatively-weak defensive hold is broken. The more-accurate term is [i]Aggressive Engineer[/i]. The only way an Engineer can actually perform offensive duties is to go in with his guns (foregoing his Engineer status in order to be a Shotgunner or to use the Wrangler in conjunction with an aggressively placed sentry to extend its range into the defensive bubble and start shutting the other team down and eliminating what defensive space they have. In the former situation he's physically extending himself in an offensive means much like a Sccout, in the latter situation he's hanging out in no-man's land like a Sniper.

Today, another friend request, asking for help. I try my best to help him but he seems a little confused, not so good with computers I'm guessing. Well, it took 20 minutes, but he finally said he got it working thanks to my help. I'm a curious fellow, so I went to tf2b.com, looked up his profile and... And after all that effort of getting him to know about directories... worst part is he has another empty objector and decal tool, I'm scared help pls. Here's a story: I was playing on ctf_turbine as a Pyro, we ended somehow in a chokepoint in the room before the intel (Not the staircase, that one with the double door thingy) and I started to mantain ground using my flamethrower. Douchebag: Fucking W+M1 Excuse me, what? To drive the point home, I was using the flamethrower to attack incoming Medics and Gunslinger-Engies, most of the time I was actually using the flare gun to do some damage to sentries and Snipers. Yeah, that really pisses me off when I play Pyro.

I think people that complain about W+M1 are worse than the ones actually doing it. Just ignore it they are just mad because they don't have the money to buy a keyboard with a S key.

Yeah, you're clearly bad at the game[/QUOTE] Eh, I like the domination system. Adds an interesting dynamic to player interaction - I always get a wave of satisfaction when I get revenge on someone. It's also a good way of involving the enemy in the whole multiplayer aspect beyond them just being a series of bullets and rockets fired at you, and gives you some independent achievement rather than something that you completed as part of a team effort.
