I dslike rats too, but I still heal them.

Spy players actually manage to be more salty than Scout ones from what I have experienced.
Do I hate spy players? Most of them yes.
Do I still heal them when I play medic? Yes because if it helps the team than it's enough of a motive for me. I'm not gonna deny someone heals just because of some stupid personal issue I have.
The only thing that's hard for me as a medic is having multiple patients that are in critical condition to heal. There are those who wisely stay back so that I can heal them, but then there are those who expect me to pocket them by staying out in the battle field while they're in low health. One lets me heal them safely so that they can jump out with overheal, but the other can hold the position well only if I risk myself and my charge build up by healing them. It becomes pure pandemonium when you can't administer everyone as a single medic.

Tell that to those who fuelled the Halo-pocalypse.

I wont heal a sniper or spy when our team already has 2 snipers and spies, doing anything I can to make them ragequit to a powerclass is beneficial to my team in the long run

I don't care how bad they're doing, top people off who are convenient to top off.
Not only are they an extra body to protect you, they function as magnets for enemy fire, in doing so you also build that crucial ubercharge that is the #1 priority if you're playing medic. Also in having topped them off, they won't be taking healthpacks that you or someone that is critically-wounded may need in a moment. You don't need to go out of your way to heal them, you don't have to go out of your way to give them a full buff if you have other priorities, but blindly ignoring people so they die in the dirt is just plain dumb since it's only hurting yourself in the long run.
I get that you don't want 3 snipers. But if they're near you, they're obviously doing something even if they're not doing well. The bad players that hang out in the back and far away from the medics aren't going to get heals anyway unless you're just passing through, so don't be denying not only yourself but the remainder of your team because of some childish vendetta. You won't get power classes unless you talk to the team, that's Medic's #1 most-useful tool. If you don't communicate then you're as useful as a walking dispenser.

And that is where the amputator taunt comes in handy.

"pls swutch to medic"
[...] You don't need to go out of your way to heal them, [...]
So much this.
This should go for pretty much anyone, really. It's usually a lot less risky for a teammate to retreat from whatever situation they got themselves into instead of expecting the medic to pretty much suicide to get to them. The greedy <insert pocket class here> that overextends crazily during an uber and then gets mad at the medic for not dying with them comes to mind as well.
Come to me, unless I'm helping someone tank a lot of damage for the team you'll get some healthcare. I'm not running past the combo, heavy and minisentry that someone rocketjumped over to heal the guy that rocketjumped.
And oh, flashing ubers too. Generally I find it to simply.. not work in public games. Yeah, it's DEVESTATING to flash a soldier to let him get a free jump/flash a good scout to let him get closer to the enemy before focusing on whoever is getting most of it, but any kind of flashing seems like it relies on a level of teamwork and communication that is rare at best in your average random game. Whenever I try to give a soldier a quick flash he reacts as if he's getting the entire uber, and then he just ends up feeling baited afterwards :(
While playing medic I often get pestered by scouts asking to get healed over and over again the same time I'm assisting a heavy or a soldier capping something or destroying an engineers' nest. And I always answer like this in team chat:
"Scouts are expendable"
To be honest, I make a point of overhealing scouts first. Since they're gonna off ahead of everyone else, you overheal them so that your front line of assault doesn't die to a weak sneeze. Same goes for spies and snipers, they're gonna get walloped by everyone on the other team, so by overhealing them, they have a little more durability. Now, all of this isn't to say that I pocket these classes, but it's still important to give the lower health classes extra survivability in case things go south.
I just heal everyone cause that one person I healed may actually come back to save my ass instead of holding a grudge against me and letting me die.
When a Demoman spams the E button and moves in front of you as you try to heal other guys, and the demoman has 170hp, demanding that you latch to his arse.
People running in front of the medic in general is very annoying, I just want to heal one specific person but 4 others keep running between us.

You dont want your team to protect you?
You dont want your team to protect you?
There is a difference between absorbing fire and just crowding around a medic.
"We need an engineer/medic"
"Dude just play engineer/medic yourself it's not that hard"
When I say "we need class X," I'm also implying that the person playing the class should be competent. I'm just about the shittiest engineer in the existence. I put sentries in the worst places, I can't spycheck for shit and I can't do anything about Soldiers or Demomen throwing rockets and nades at my nest.
I'm not that good at being a medic either because I'm bad at dodging the shit that gets thrown at me when I don't have the proper means to fight back.

Anyone who doesn't think Scouts are worth overhealing completely underestimates the entire class. Scout can be considered a glass cannon: really powerful, but needs to be close to do work, and goes down pretty quickly with just a few seconds of focus fire. Overheal changes that. You suddenly get the fastest and most powerful close range class with nearly 200 HP up in your face. You'd better literally be surrounded by teammates, otherwise you're scattergun fodder.
There's a reason why the Pocket Pistol is banned in 6s. 185 HP Scouts are scary. 200+ HP ones will make you shit the bed.
I hate servers that enforce sv_pure 1/2 but then at the same time force me to listen to their crappy
Quake Killstreak Sound effects.

On that note, the fact that they're called "Quake" sounds.
Literally only one sound byte in the entire set is actually from a Quake game. The rest are from, what, Unreal Tournament?

its really sad when folks mistaken Unreal Tournament for Quake...but that still annoying to keep the server pure but also make us listen and deal with their modifications.
Even if they do have sv_pure enabled, I'd still leave. Don't need to have "DOUBLE KILL!!" screamed down my ear 50 times.
You can usally turn them off by typing /quake or/settings.
You can usally turn them off by typing /quake or/settings.
Even so, if they can have modifications that effect everybody, why the heck can't I have my
TIP skins and weapon mods that affect only my side?

The server owner decides how the game on the server should be played. If he wants everybody to have wallhack, he can, it's his server.
User-side modifications can instead be used to cheat and play the game in a way it's not intended.
Said that, the sv_pure thing is bullshit and noone cares anyway. I don't use any mods myself though.
Do you really want to know what grind my gears?
I changed my ISP this month and now I can find ~60 servers in TF2. With my old ISP I was able to find more than 1.000 Servers. You ask why? I have no idea. Maybe it's related to the masterserver "geolock" (The Steam Server Browser only shows servers that are closest to your geographical area, until it reaches the max servers). Idk. However, I found a solution: A VPN. Yes, now I need a VPN, with an exit point in my city, to play TF2 or to find any servers. An interresting fact is: The VPN and my connection have the same geolocation. I asked my ISP and they have no fucking clue. Valve did not even bother to anwser my support ticket, yet.
*GG* Valve *g fucking g*

Why do those even exist? Was getting more than one kill in each life considered an achievement in the days of UT?
The problem with medics for me is quite the opposite. They don't heal me when I'm dying.
"MEEEDIIIIIC"
"MEDIC"
"MEDIC!"
Medic just looks at me with his emotionless face and just watches my health drain as he continues to pocket the gibus-wearing heavy who's firing at a wall.

Everybody keeps mentioning this geolock and yet my TF2 continues to show servers from around the world. Hell, I wish it actually worked so quickplay sever select would stop giving me all servers in Stockholm 70% of the time.
I see all kinds of servers but for some mysterious reason it likes putting the servers that have 200-250 ms ping on top by default, even though I've always just sorted by latency. Leads to some confusing experiences when I join one and my rockets are delayed or something :v:
