For dispensers and teleporters, I'd do something like this: Dispensers heal teammates but at half the speed, and teleporters are reversed but take longer to recharge. That'd be good for a spy wanting to quickly jump to another Engineer while possibly taking out a teleporter.
That's actually a pretty good idea I'll admit. [editline]11:03PM[/editline]
Pile up shitloads of gas cans back the fuck up ignite from afar with the flare gun watch awesome explosion.
You're going to ignite your secondary weapon with your secondary weapon? MTS-style martial arts for Spy.
The OverHealer Unlike the Medigun, which temporarily boosts a player's health to 150% of their maximum, the Overhealer would have permanently boosted a player's health to 200% of their maximum. The tradeoff is that the Overhealer's ÜberCharge was to fill very slowly— or possibly not at all.

Nice idea, I think it would be cool, if you could heal two teammates at the same time. So you can heal one with the left mousebutton and one with the right. The downside is, that you have no Ubercharge, but your mates health is boosted to 200% so they wont die as easily anyway. Well, just an idea.^^
Replacement for minigun Rapid fire ion cannon +Does loads of damage at a high rate of speed once in full effect - Cannot rev - Super visible tracers - First few shots are slow and weak but the longer you hold down the fire button the more damage and higher rate of fire it will get.
If it were introduced with something like the axtinguisher and new items got it, people would be saying "about fucking time!" but since we got 2 weapons with it so close together and it hasn't been balanced much, everyone jumps on the hate bandwagon. If your team doesn't suck and you have a good medic, bleeding's worthless.
Except that the visual effect essentially makes you blind. Everything starts flashing red, and your vision goes all whooshy. If it lacked this, or lacked the whooshy bit, I would probably not have a problem with it.
Anything with out a bleeding effect or a healing effect. I hate the Shiv and SH. I only use the SH to look badass. Feels like i'm hitting - NOTHING AT ALL , NOTHING AT ALL. Sorry for bump but it's a good joke.
A hitscan-based weapon for the medic.
Two guns (primary slot) for the engi.
Instead of throwing knives, give him shurikens.
A new Demoman primary.
Could give it a bleeding effect, but no one seems to like bleeding.
bleeding's a dumb copout that changes nothing about the class and only serves to anger the victim or to copy the pyro. That healing two people at once.. I like the sound of that. A gun that goes *Bak Bak*, That would be so awesome. Right guys?
A new dispenser for the engineer. At the cost of half of the ammo regen, it would add a small red light on the front. The faster it beeps the closer a spy is.
Lord no.
Compact dispenser Dispenses like a level 2 dispenser Builds 4x faster Only requires 60 metal Cannot regenerate metal Only has a level 1 dispenser's health
A small bomb that the spy can plant on people and detonate it when they're in a crowd v:v:v
A small bomb that the spy can plant on people and detonate it when they're in a crowd v:v:v
Griefable Get a friend to go on enemy team Plant the bomb on him He goes into spawn Activate bomb
I would like a flamethrower that handles more realistically as a flamethrower. Basically, somewhat longer and more narrow stream of fire, and it deals more damage as fire is not realistically something you walk away from with minor injuries like the current flamethrowers. The downsides could perhaps be the lack of airblast and less ammo. Meaning that you would be powerful in short/borderline medium range, but you'll have to fire sparingly to not run out of ammo, and you would again be more vulnerable at range since you can't reflect projectiles. It could look like the flamethrower in the concept art of Pyro.
Well, if you want realistic, people normally die from 1-5 shots of a gun. If all classes died from just 5 bullets wheres the fun in that. Fuck being realistic.
Well, if you want realistic, people normally die from 1-5 shots of a gun. If all classes died from just 5 bullets wheres the fun in that. Fuck being realistic.
Then forget I said "realistic", and view my ideas a suggestion for a weapon mechanic instead, it does to me sound like a very good weapon that could easily fit the TF2 theme. I don't mean to make a weapon that is completely realistic, but I would like a weapon that makes the Pyro a Pyro. I would like a weapon that would make the Pyro what he was designed to be, a class that is king of close quarter combat, to be someone you fear getting close and personal with, someone who rely more on killing the enemy to survive rather relying on survival to kill the enemy. [editline]10:01PM[/editline] It handles more realistically, but not actually realistic.
Springfield rifle for the Soldier.

Scout >Weld self
Half Life 1 much?
And half life 2 and a whole bunch of games :colbert:
A walking sentry.
Reprogrammer, replaces sapper + Makes enemy sentry guns start shooting at its teammates - twice the time to sap - once the reprogramming is complete the sentry will continously lose health while its shooting at its teammates
twice the time to sap? the normal sapper is instant. so you mean about 3-4 seconds?
Super Nail gun for the scout. Or a SMG for him.
I'd give soldier a BAR
As much as I can hope for this, I have a feeling that Valve will never add an assault rifle to TF2.
Super Nail gun for the scout. Or a SMG for him.
Scout originally had an SMG but gave it to Sniper instead. I would love an SMG instead of the pistol for Scout.
