Are you using the Ping limit option in Matchmaking settings?
Steam Awards are here.

Tough i still love to laugh at those dense pyro mains/sympathisers who still keep on saying that pyro is " clearly not broken and ((underpowered))" when there is plenty of evidence to it back up being completely broken.

You do realize pyro is absolutely dead in most engagements out of its range right? Soldier, scout, demo, sniper and even heavy still exist and most out perform the class in way more scenarios. There's more to this game than 24 player pubs.
And I wouldn't call a bug that makes aiming an easy to aim gun even easier completely broken.
Also take that whining about "mains" back to whatever place still whines about that crap.
if you're talking about this

you might want to skip to 3:38
Scout can just get 2 shotted with a dragon fury. Wonder how scouts get out of that type of mess. Even competitive scouts hate it when i use it to counter them.

Soldier and demo can be deflected the shit out if them, and spam flares or shotgun shells.
Scouts need to get close for meat shots but the die in less than 2 seconds from pyros flame
Sniper i would understand but the jetpack and flare could deal with that class too.
heavies are easily killable by your move speed and using the backburner.
Since projectiles are way easier to hit with than hitscan so i dont understand your point with "And I wouldn't call a bug that makes aiming an easy to aim gun even easier completely broken."

Remember the old backburner that gave Pyro 50 health? We should bring that back just to show people what a real problem looks like.
ah so you have never seen big hitboxes hit larger before? gotcha.

If you want more people to leave the game and make rant's about it, i'm fine with your idea. :v:

Or a bit more recently, when you could chain Phlog kills near infinitely.
Regarding the Steam Awards categories - since you can only nominate a game for one category, I think the most fitting for TF2 would be either the 'Labor of Love' one (long-term support and new content after many years) or the 'Choose your own adventure' one (many different ways to play the game with all the maps, modes, classes, weapons, loadouts, playstyles, custom servers and mods etc.).
Though I'm sure one could be cynical/critical of TF2's changes and additions in recent years, and there are certainly other games with long-term support that can rival TF2's.
Or a bit more recently, when you could chain Phlog kills near infinitely.
remember when valve did their biggest mistake of making pyro a god when phlog got a mega buff of free uber and critz + full health heals.
Man those were the days. lasted like 2 weeks in total and made 1/3 of the community go to overwatch.
I was stuck between 'Labor of Love' or 'No Apologies'
The 2nd option just because I'm constantly judged for playing a 10 year old game that my friends deem "ded gaem lol XD" And it does indeed have its problems, but I still love it none-the-less.
Can't believe this hasn't been discussed here yet

Belgium, Hawaii, and parts of Australia declare loot boxes as gambling and want them banned. This obviously pretty relevant to TF2. Thoughts?

If every map was turbine's vents then I would gladly agree with you.
however there's a reason projectile airshots are very prized. There's also a reason huntsman is trash compared to rifles.
as long as there's room to move in good maps then hitscan will always be "easier".
They should separate games where the lootboxes/microtransactions affect gameplay, and where they don't. And while I hate gambling laws to the bone, and find some of them incredibly stupid and outdated (they killed my favourite hobby in my country - pinball), I like the idea of it being considered gambling in the former case. The only problem is, it might be hard to pull the line about which games offer advantages by microtransactions.
I'd really love Belgium to ban lootboxes in Europe, lootboxes are cancer to modern game.
But I really hope this won't affect TF2.
Crates in TF2 are y'know, pretty cool.

In theory though, weapons are sold on the Mann Co. Store, so as useless and overpriced as that is they'd see it as gameplay content. The solution would be to make every weapon unlockable through contracts like the jungle ones.

for a sec i thought that guy was a member of the new tf2 team and that he had to reverse engineer the game himself to fix shit
I wonder if with the new airblast the axtinguisher could be revisited.
It just needs to not be completely useless. Which isn't hard.
Apparently he's turned down an offer before since he has narcolepsy, I imagine he's fine with where he is currently.
That's actually a false rumor. He hadn't received a offer to work there.

Buying almost anything from the mann. co store is a waste of cash.

The original stats with a 25% slower swing speed seems like it'd be good enough. Maybe a holster penalty too.

they're talking about loot boxes, not microtransactions in general, they can't ban those
Did you manage to get anything back yet? I'm pretty sure steam support can restore items.
I can do that? I'll give them a heads up and see if they can get me my items back.
I can do that? I'll give them a heads up and see if they can get me my items back.
Unless its a Novelty item (Gibus, Merc Badge) - they wont restore your items. That's how "Dupes" happen, yknow? Bad for the Economy.

No, they only restore deleted items. If an item was modified, crafted away, traded, or otherwise had some impact on the economy: it won't be restored.

That makes sense actually, my bad.
EDIT: Also the Dragon's Fury seems to be broken around payloads
