would underwater combat be more interesting if all primaries jammed, but only pistols/shotguns/smg worked?
Did Valve ever confirm that CSGO wasn't getting a full Source 2 port? The only thing I remember seeing directly from them was the Valve News Network interview with one of the CSGO guys who said Source 2 is the future of CSGO (and he also said Source 2 is probably every other game that isn't already Source 2, which of course implies TF2). However of course the way he worded it was somewhat vague.
They confirmed a full S2 port march last year during a Perfect World keynote, this was also where they announced Hydra & 128 tick.
They confirmed a full S2 port march last year during a Perfect World keynote, this was also where they announced Hydra & 128 tick.
I've pretty much given up on Dave Riller ever answering the rest of your email questions. Hopefully Valve will have another set of press interviews this year where you can ask directly about the future of TF2 and Source 2.
There are bots on backpack.tf selling keys for less refined than bots on the same site are buying them for. Is this a sign of the apocalypse?
There are bots on backpack.tf selling keys for less refined than bots on the same site are buying them for. Is this a sign of the apocalypse?
its geel's 4D Economy tricks his plan is to buy all the ref in tf2 and thus save the tf2 economy
And then he saves the economy by deleting every key, creating a reset on the price to be set by the new keys that will be brought, returning us at the 2.55 ref key price

I'm not sure how different Source 1 and 2 are but I can see how having all active games on the same engine would be good for the way Valve is structured.

The bots are buying high and selling low; they’re losing ref. Then if geel starts deleting keys, it’ll just increase the price of each key in terms of tradable items. How do you think Valve would portray the USSR in the TF2 universe? edit: seems to be more serious than normal tf2 stuff based on Heavy's backstory
Speaking of backpack.tf, according to the price page of the strange jag, anyone who had purchased strange jags by the end of 2013 would have received a 450% return on investment if they were sold today, or a 650% return on investment if they cashed out back in early 2017 after the jag received a buff. Strange jags were a solid investment all along.

Guess who made a tf2 video
Guess who made a tf2 video
Watching the video, he obviously doesn't care about the game, therefore it's hard to take any of his criticisms seriously. Most of his complaints are pedantic except the fact that Valve didn't add any comp changes, which literally everyone agrees was a very stupid move. They could've at the very least acknowledged it will be in the next major update. The fact that he was being completely negative about the Jungle Inferno update before it was even released shows how much he doesn't care for the game in general.

Though I have to say he completely skipped the Pyro changes.
Guess who made a tf2 video
Who? (seriously, never heard of this guy). I know the guy says he doesn't touch TF2 all that much, but the video kinda just seems like shit throwing for the sake of it. Which I suppose is the purpose of the video. Like the whole reason comp barely got touched was the intended changes weren't ready, TFTeam learned from their previous fuck up of realising an unfinished matchmaking system and really didn't want to start another burning torches and pitchforks scenario. I can respect that honestly, and sure I'm still impatient for comp to be fun and investing to play. Ranks that matter and hopefully a ranking system similar to CSGO's, but that's just wishful thinking. I also like how he mentions Valve isn't a little indie team and he recognises that TFTeam is small but yet won't give them a pass. I mean with Valve's infrastructure it's all voluntary, if someone doesn't want to work on TF2 they simply won't. Most prefer to work on the more interesting or 'fun' projects that are newer. It doesn't seem entirely right to jump back into a game with no investment and give uneducated statements as if they were fact, but whatever I suppose. I'm not defending the update at all, a good chunk was community made as predicted. Some weapon changes made me confused as to why, like the panic attack was already pretty garbage tier if you weren't glued to the enemy but now it's entirely trash. 2 out of 4 of the new weapons are pretty useless when compared to other options for Pyro. I dunno, maybe my expectations were already low so I didn't nitpick at every little thing in the update, I was simply happy seeing new things to play with. Contracts were a bonus and new maps that people actually play was nice to see, albeit them designed just as well as dustbowl. I've just gotten used to the fact if an update does come out for TF2 that isn't the end-all, usually is followed by patch after patch as things are ironed out, I guess this guy just expected A+ perfection day 1.

Saw a reddit edit: post of the glitched holy mackerel and it made me wonder, has the jigglebone glitch been around since weapons with them were first added? They at least fixed the end of the disciplinary action disappearing in jungle inferno.
Guess who made a TF2 video instead of dealing with his crippling, cringeworthy personal issues?
eh? I need some context; I don't know much about this guy.
eh? I need some context; I don't know much about this guy.
I don't know either, but I don't want context. it's quite clearly some sort of memelord
eh? I need some context; I don't know much about this guy.
Zeno is a YouTuber who's thing is cringey/purposefully toxic meme humor because that's his audience he's cultivated over the years. He also doesn't care about the game anymore/hates valve for the wrong reasons. Tbh I don't think anyone would be as mad as they are if he was just another toxic memelord because those are a dime a dozen- he actually makes well reasoned and statistically detailed arguments in his videos between the unintelligible shitting- And that's what pisses me off anyway, is that if he was more mature, and didn't project his freakin' personal problems into his videos with all this toxicity, he'd actually be taken more seriously on his points (which are good), and might actually help the causes he complaints about. It's really hard to use his videos to argue points, as reddit/everyone will always focus on the dick drawings inserted every 20 seconds instead of his data or reasoning.

nice concept but that's a pretty bad sample to show it off
