next thing you're going to ask is for spies to walk through enemies if disguised.
I can't imagine a single spy main objecting to removing shots being caught by teammates.
It never actually benefits Spy.
If anything, even if people getting confused and paranoid from hitting their teammates thinking it's a Spy was an actual thing (it isn't) it doesn't help actual Spies at all, it just artificially creates paranoia zones where they can't operate.
There's no need to go the other way and make spies immune to projectiles either. This change would not affect Spy at all, so Spy would not need a counterbuff.
Is literally the only reason why people even want the projectile collision changed because one time they shot a rocket or grenade and it hit a teammate? Because that's what it seems like. I don't think projectile collision on teammates has nearly as much potency in the game as you few think it does, and this is the first time I've actually seen people even bring it up.
I lost count of the times my team is fighting in a tunnel like thundermountain stage and as a soldier i can't do anything until i get, charging a cowmangler shot for a scout to jump into it, and i've also blown myself up on dispensers more than i like to confess
I hate when I get caught inside my teammates and I can't hurt the enemy, especially with melee attacks, that is right in front of me because my teammates absorb my attacks.
It's about time we should get a Strange Eureka, Buffalo Steak, Tide Turner and Short Circuit.
It's about damn time we get a new salvaged crate.

No
The EE will 100% be made strange by an -ifier. All Grord weapons have been -ified vs unboxed as strange. I strongly suspect the same will be true for the ADAM Harvester UH I MEAN Vita-Saw.
What I'd like to see is a strangifier for a few Grord cosmetics that are not the Mutton Chops.
I don't think we'll ever see another Salvage crate. I also don't think we'll see any -ifiers outside of the ones I mentioned above.
The lack of a strange Tide Turner is kind of astounding at this point. BSS I care less about since Valve have made it more or less useless. I suspect the reason we've never seen a strange Short Circuit is that Valve want it to track "projectiles destroyed" as a secondary counter and could not figure out how to code it.

you're overlooking into it.
the employee who tracked stranges just moved over to another project.
What random features do you think will be in the next major update? Like viewmodel minmode or the team outlines after respawning.
What random features do you think will be in the next major update? Like viewmodel minmode or the team outlines after respawning.
am i missing something or are these already in-game
he means stuff like that that was added out of nowhere.
I personally would love an advanced option to disable cosmetic particles and cosmetic paints altogether.
I just want strange RPS.

But unusual prices! Shouldn't we be caring about the economy of TF2 more than the actual game?
sarcasm if you couldn't tell
I suspect at some point Valve will make Taunt Strangifiers a thing, and have them be a "rare" unbox like unusualifiers.

Well, we already have a Strange taunt. I don't see why not release more of them, strangifier could be nice, yeah, but then again, we have unusual taunts, so the strangifiers would be either expensive as fuck or every taunt would be strange unusual.
Little poll, which lesser used map theme is your favorite and you want to see more maps with the theme.
Agree: Trainyard/Brick (Well and Brickyard)
Disagree: Dam (Hydro and Powerhouse)
Funny: Egypt (Egypt and Lakeside)
Winner: Heavy industry (Pipeline and Foundry)
Zing: Autumn (Harvest)
Informative: Snow (Viaduct and Coldfront)
Friendly: Asian city (Kong King and District)
Useful: Urban (Mannhattan)
Optimistic: German town (Rottenburg)
Artistic: Space (Asteroid)
Late: Japanese forest/temple (Suijin)
Dumb: Deep forest (Landfall)

There is exactly one strange taunt: The Burstchester. While that's a fine taunt, it ...doesn't get used very much. The most used taunt in the game (based on how quickly it sells) is the Schadenfreude. My personal favorite is Soldier's Requiem. I'd like for every momentary taunt to have a strangifier. I'm less wanting of strangifiers for looping and partner taunts. I'd probably use a strange high five (at least if it counted actual hand slaps and not just triggering the taunt.)

The best taunt is the Spent-Well Spirits because the bottle in it inherits the killstreak sheen of whatever weapon you were holding.

Seems a bit odd to put pipeline in with foundry, I'd argue foundry has an art design all to itself.

I love using Spent Well Spirits when I have the Caber equipped.

Think it was that I was thinking of Foundry earlier or when making the poll, and then remembered Pipeline, and put them together because they both have blue industrial bits. (Metalworks could also fit this) Also was thinking of calling Pipeline's theme Texas I believe. :v:
Pipeline, Metalwork, Doublecross(?) fall under the same category Dark/Night and Industrial

I'm kinda sad Valve or a community mapper never really made a map set in a swamp, Valve bought most of the community made swamp theme assets since Mountain Lab uses some of them but I would love a map set in the bayou.
I wish there were more maps where trains or other obstacles were important to the objective providing cover or used as moving platforms
On a note about Stranges, there's a kind of undocumented change regarding a certain Strange item.
In the 2014 Halloween update, the TF Team introduced the Kritz or Treat Canteen. This item's Strange quality only carried the ability to track kills, underworld kills, and rounds won on sd_doomsday_event - it clearly made perfect sense. You know, having an item that is only usable in MvM but cannot be leveled in any way outside of a map and gamemode that is NOT MvM - and said map utilizes spells which require a different action slot item entirely. Good luck leveling that thing to Hale's Own with the disadvantage of being unable to use spells on a Halloween map.
In the July 7, 2016 update, the TF Team introduced Strange Battery Canteens. They were broken upon release and didn't count any stats at all - they outright had no counter. At this point the Strange quality was effectively just a glorified name tag that changed the item's name a bit and changed the c
In the November 2, 2016 update, the TF Team fixed the Battery Canteens not counting stats. In this same update, they also changed the Kritz or Treat Canteen to count "Power Up Canteens Used" as the primary counter. In doing so, they also completely removed the "Carnival Kills" counter from the item. Anybody that had any stats on "Carnival Kills" had those stats completely erased (or converted when the counter was changed? I couldn't say for sure), while leaving "Carnival Underworld Kills" and "Carnival Games Won" on the item.
Such a bizarre change, honestly. On the bright side, we at least know that in the case of "wow this item really should not count this stat" the TF Team might change it. Another good example being the Strange Southern Hospitality, when they chose to add Sentry Kills as a secondary counter but forgot to wipe all of the ones on the Steam Market so there's still a few without the counter.
I wish there were more maps where trains or other obstacles were important to the objective providing cover or used as moving platforms
This is why I absolutely love Banana Bay. It does a lot of abnormal things, like the cart going through water.
It's certain that a Strange Canteen counting system didn't exist when we got the Kritz or Treat, which instead counted the same thing as every other Haunted Strange from that event. It wasn't until the multiclass crate that a non-event Strange Canteen was possible. Whether or not this was anticipated we don't know, but it likely bumped the feature priority.
What's surprising is that they retroactively applied it to the Kritz or Treat Canteen. Didn't know they did this or that the original stat was wiped. It makes sense to apply it, though. I considered buying a Strange one back during the event, but opted not to since it didn't count anything related to MvM.
My only current complaint is that I can't apply a Robots Destroyed part to the Strange Battery Canteens.
I own a strange Kritz or Treat Canteen, and I managed to get like half a dozen Carnival kills and win one game (through no merit of my own) with it. I did so solely out of stubbornness.
[t]https://i.imgur.com/XUKlgbu.png[/t]
When Valve changed the primary counter on the Canteen, they converted it to usages and did not wipe the other values. So now I have an idiot hallween-only canteen that has two secondary stats that I will never level up again.
What saddens me is I that I can't put strange parts on it or the Strange Battery Canteen. I've love, for instance to put Robots Destroyed/Robots Killed During Halloween/Fires Survived/etc on it.
The other thing that kind of sucks about the Kritz or Treat is that it's really cool looking when it's holding a charge and seriously boring when it doesn't. So it only looks good in MvM, when utter havoc is unfolding and no one (especially the wearer) is looking at it. It'd be neat if it and the Battery Canteen could look charged in PvP. The stock Canteen can't since it shows what type of powerup it's holding. In that regard, the other two canteens are a straight downgrade over stock.

sarcasm if you couldn't tell
It isn't about the economy, it's about the value created from owning an item that helps differentiate yourself from others. I'm proud to own my unusuals, and if others couldn't see them, then they'd be worthless, and not just monetarily.
People on scrap.tf are auctioning off Conscientious objectors with cropped porn on them, and for like twice the price it takes to make them.
