There's no reason to beat up on Exor, it's not like his post is the first time Eric Smith's email address has been posted on a webpage that can be scanned by bots, or even on facepunch.

It is important for everyone to know that posting email addresses in a public place is bad form, even if the address has been posted before. Being on the receiving end of spam is, at best, an annoyance.
If the other party avoids posting it publicly, the least you can do is respect that by not posting it either.

You linked two pages, where they put effort into concealing their actual email addresses, so they made an online form for getting in touch. Then they even put a captcha on that. The problem is not with people knowing the address, but with posting them online. Not that it matters too much in my opinion with modern spam filtering, but people should generally try to avoid doing so.
Edit: Damn, didn't refresh.. super late.
Doubt they check that "form" often, speaking from experience.
direct mails seem alot more reliable
the form just goes to their email tho right?

They do check it. It's undoubtedly not top priority, but they check in when they have the time/focus, as my messages have been acknowledged directly or indirectly.
I can't deny that some get ignored, though. Depends on the content, severity, and what's going on for them that day. I'm speaking from experience from my own job where I get a lot of email that's fluff, and sometimes email that's important.
Your email is more likely to get read if it's sent to the entire TF team rather than one employee, as they may not be in the office at that time and your email will be overshadowed by newer ones.
honestly ive had the best success rate with emailing eric, if your email is important enough to get answered and/or isnt about something theyd rather not talk about ("wheres the update" etc) then he's your guy.
Any advice on how to get the "heal 250+ health in a second" bonus? I picked the amputator contract and it's the last thing I have to do :saddowns:.

Get a few injured teammates around you and taunt.
This is probably easier said than done, though.

Get a minimum of five soldiers hurt down low with crit heals, and taunt. It should take a matter of seconds to complete the whole thing.
That's what we did anyway. Apparently it's a lot of hurt players you need.
Does a friend on your team also playing medic count towards the 250? Like you heal 125 health in a second while they heal another 125 at the same time, or is it only where if one of you do the whole 250 you both get points?
Queue up for Degroot Keep and taunt on point C.
Aww yeah finally did it, what I ended up doing was use an alt account to run around as a heavy till I got to below 50 health (works best on 2fort and turbine because no one cares), I then ran the alt to spawn, waited 20 seconds and healed the alt account as a quick-fix medic with an ubercharge.
I tried the degoot Keep way but I could never get the timing right.

are you serious
I find it hilariously nice that Amputator and Crossbow contracts work so well in Degroot Keep and the set was released along with the map in 2010

It works
A minor thing, but I noticed that when using the Advanced Filters in your Steam Inventory, the Grade filters don't work for the new War Paint skins - picking Civilian, let's say, will only display Civilian grade skins from the old campaigns. The wear level filters work with new skins correctly.
At least the filters for both grade and wear level work correctly on the SCM, so you can effectively search for skins and War Paints there.

Yeah if you crit heal someone with the quickfix uber you heal them at 300 HP per second.

this is less about the fact of the heal rate and more about the absurdity that someone is willing to make an alt, join in a game with it, play with both accounts instead of just doing it normally and/or asking a frend
people that cheese contracts dont deserve them
EDIT: face the truth
I unno, if a contract is badly designed then cheesing it is the sane option, especially if the other options for the same contract were more sane and wouldn't need to be cheesed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
tbh Im still on the fence whether or not contracts without bonuses would be better as many seemingly find them frustrating or if that would make them boring

Valve just said we had to do it. How we did it was never part of the contract terms, nor was the fact that many of the bonuses are unreasonable and grindy to expect in normal gameplay, especially things like that 60k healing nonsense at launch.
Checkmate Stalingrad.

More like the contracts that require cheesing don’t deserve the effort to do them “properly”.
I got the 250 in one second bonus with crit healing two near death heavies

thats unethical and will earn you bad karma
the journey is the reward
The contracts need rework. Maybe saying "Welcome to KOTH_contracts. Please, select one of the following maps to fulfill this contract (the list says: 1, 2, and 3)" instead of "hey play 2fort because fuck you". Let us pick the maps we want to play instead of forcing us to endure shitty maps.
I really don't like how the Spycicle works now. Literally could not kill a Spy the entire game because he could go invisible and have immunity to the Pyros on my team. Incredibly frustrating to play against as an Engineer.
So I've been away for a while, does the sandman straight up not stun people anymore? I've hit people and heard the sound but they don't seem to be affected.

I disagree on principle.
The very few things we cheesed were the things that relied completely on luck or had an unreasonably low chance of occurring during normal gameplay. You can put in maximum effort on the journey, but still never reach the end.
Or would you rather it be the end of February with things undone because people have stopped playing the campaign maps and objectives, due to no fault of your own?
