Valve's standards are wildly unreasonable. There is a great, great many number of individuals that Valve has not even given the time of day, not peeking at their resume, let alone considering hiring them, and for no reason. They simply choose not too. Valve has such a nepotistic way of bringing people aboard the company and it's unrealistic and almost cruel. So many "best of the best" never get hired there, because they don't get the chance.
TL;DR Fuck valve's hiring process for artists.

Sounds like a dick move, but I just found a giftapault in a drop and don't know what to use it on. I saw my matchmacking beta pass and thought about that, I sat at the computer giggling to myself like an idiot.

Honestly, the whole culture thing is bullshit simply for the reason that you don't need to be some talented artist with great potential who fits into your company style to grind down on the bugs in this game.

This is why I look to see what's inside before opening. If you look at your Steam inventory, it shows you what's in there. I've got two delivered Giftapult packages that I left unopened, because I liked the gift box more. One of them was a Halloween Spy Mask, and the other was a Manmelter.

No, they changed how gifting works. Every item that isn't untradable can be gifted now, and as your haunted scrap is untradable, it's ungiftable as well. This is why the Summer Shades, Bounty Hat, Treasure Hat, and the Hat of Undeniable Wealth and Respect were made tradable.

Yesterday I was playing on Lazarus and apparently someone who was both new to Steam and TF2 was asking how to play the game, so a few people in the server and I decided to give them some tips as to what to do. Hopefully that person ends up getting better at the game.

To be fair, the charge shot is more effective at stopping a sentry as a sapper is when coordinated with a team. It blocks healing/reparis, forces wrangler shield off, and of course disables the damn thing, but it also cannot be "unsapped".
