What could be the reason behind this change? Every other weapon uses it's name as a condition whether to speak response rules or not, and they changed the Guillotine to check for if it's a tf_weapon_cleaver instead. Maybe it'll get a smissmass skin with a different name?

unlike all the other genuine items in the game, the ones from the sleeping dogs pack use a completely separate set of item IDs from the standard ones for some reason, so the taunt was only being applied to the standard flying guillotine but not the genuine one.

I'm waiting for them to release festive watches for Spy... More so because of the fact that watches are only seen in the spies first person perspective unless the multi weapon glitch occurs. I've actually seen a spy with a dead ringer out once because of that lol.

A festive invis or CnD would be quite the feast for the eyes.
I wonder what caused that bug after jungle inferno where the medigun wouldn't stick to players, I think it only didn't stick when you healed a class you haven't healed before for the first time.

If designed well I'd totally dig it. I'd hope for the stock watch first, since it's stock and it's the only watch I really use outside of the Dead Ringer for Mann vs Machine. No lights, just a neat little festive design is all I ask.
More so since I collect festive loadouts for 5 out of 9 classes, and spy is one of those 5.
On a side note, after using the phlog in MvM a few times now, but why is it whenever I do the crit taunt the taunt menu is still open afterwards? It screws me up if I'm not careful and accidentally press one of the buttons right after the taunt. =/

Skyrim wasn't nominated. Good. Guess Bethesda burnt out all their goodwill with paid mods. I wish I could say TF2 had an easy win, but that's far from the case with Warframe and Path of Exile also in the nominees.

the problem is that regardless of how viable you can possibly make demoknight, stock demo is still way better and you have no reason to not be playing that instead
I guess if you gave pure demoknight a seperate class limit from stock demo, maybe it would be fine?

I love the concept of demoknight but in a game where 7 out of the 9 classes focus on ranged attacks demoknights gets shot down before they can even close the gap between players, no matter how much shield charging you can do.
That being said I love playing demoknight when the opposite team has a surplus of spy players.
it worked back when explosive resistance was like 65%

In lower tiers it can work, back when I played in steel-level HL lobbies there were a few higher-tier (think gold and plat) demo mains that only played Demoknight and completely wrecked face. Of course, this was before Tide Turner was a thing so they had full turning range and all the resists of pre-TT Chargin' Targe

Original Demoknight was just Chargin' Targe, GL, and Eyelander, then when Splendid Screen and the 1000 and one Demoknights set came out, it just became a colloquialism for any Demo running a shield that wasn't Demopan, and has persisted that way ever since. The term is broad enough that just the concept of a Demo with a Shield could be considered Demoknight, no matter his weapons, and let's be honest, a Demoknight with a GL instead of Booties/Bootlegger is gonna fare far better in competitive
