20% damage vuln doesn't really break any important thresholds to make it worth considering. This just adds some risk to using the combo. It also makes both jars less viable for self defense and adds more of a reason to use other secondary weapons.
Also, I assume people just like war paints better because they have a much wider use than hats. unbox a shitty hat for demo, even though you hate playing him? too bad. Unbox a battle scarred skin? You can use it on any weapon for whichever class you like, don't worry.
Most Sniper secondaries have their uses and are worth equipping, I actually see a ton of variety in that weapon slot. Certainly isn't a "Powerjack" situation where using anything else would be gimping yourself in the vast majority of situations.
The least viable options are probably the Cleaner's Carbine and SMG, but even those weapons can be useful in the right scenario. The SMG works best as a finisher rather than as a self defense weapon, considering it does pitiful DPS.
That being said, I don't see the Jarate + Bushwacka combo as a problem. It's very predictable, only works in the range that is most dangerous for Sniper, and leaves him more vulnerable in a variety of ways (not just by taking extra damage, but also by giving up the protection other secondaries can offer).

Oh hey, this is pretty cool. My Miami Element Minigun applied itself as half-red, half-blue, pretty much right down the middle.

What is it with TF2 and furries? I personally haven't seen any at all.
players's
100$ typo, ouch.
That's literally an unavoidable error. Either it was typo'd like that (on purpose) or it read incorrectly as "player's".
What is it with TF2 and furries? I personally haven't seen any at all.
Anyone who leans towards Pyro is often a latent furry
I've always wanted a hipfire rambo type badass machinegun for heavy, something that has no spin mechanics on it and lets you walk around and shoot but you need to actually reload it, but it'd need to have stats that doesn't make it OP somehow, maybe a long reload time?, dunno.
dude i've always wanted this playstyle for heavy. As fun as playing as an unstoppable tank is, i've always wanted some rambo esc weapon that made you feel like you were taking on the whole other team one at time from the shadows like an unstoppable single figure. unfortunately tomislav or shotgun heavy is closest i have to that.
in the meantime i just have to settle with revolver spy or primary restricted sniper and do my best to get that feeling.
What is it with TF2 and furries? I personally haven't seen any at all.
I've seen so many furries in TF2 after the thousands of hours of playing. It's easy to tell who they are judging from their loadouts/names. They mostly wear the Fox Pelt and/or color their loadouts pink. Bonus points if it's on Pyro.

Tf2 has accepted that its playerbase's "all fucking furries."
Using a plural noun doesn't work.
All Scout mains are cunts, all Soldier mains are tryhards, all Pyro mains are furries, all Demo mains are spammers, no Heavy mains exist, Engineer mains let the game play for them, all Medic mains are girls, all Sniper mains are edgy, all Spy mains are weebs.
No exceptions.

That's one big generalization if I've ever seen one.
Trade.tf just announced that they will close on Jan 1st 2018
Based on how long it took for the mapper that made Powerhouse to come back and finish it, we can expect Asteroid and Cactus Canyon by around the summer 2021 update.

Sad thing is it seems like Asteroid was basically done and just needed some final textures added to it.
Cactus Canyon felt like it could use some more work though.

My top 3 is Scout, Soldier and Sniper. So an edgy tryhard cunt. :v:

I guess I'm a girl now

Also I would replace weeb spies with 30's gangster wannabe spies.

Wasn't it already half dead?
How is trade.tf dying but bazaar.tf still alive? I've been watching bazaar.tf ever since it launched in like 2011 and it's still chugging along even though like 5 people use it that aren't silver tier bots
So now that the year is nearing it's end and quite literally all info we have on next year is "Comp - surely this time"..
How would you rate this year for tf2?
I'm leaning towards 5/10 in all honesty. Maybe a 6 if you are generous. The extreme drought of nothing was not only terrible but extremely fucking awful and the update we got didnt even deliever on everything. If it had comp, I wouldve instantly given this year a 10/10 - but the fact that we might have to wait 3 years for a comp rework is pretty insane.
Apart from that, we got cool new weapons, good rebalances, better contract system and a better skin system alongside of a better UI.
Was that worth 450 days though? Nay. Here is hoping that the TF Team is finally happy with how War Paints and Contracts work and we get an Update in March after Jungle Inferno including Comp.

I really liked Jungle Inferno update, so I'm really happy with TF2 this year.
Personally, I dont really care about Competitive ( Valve ) since I know It will not top the community competitive.
Most of my enjoyment this year with TF2 was with my involvement with TF2 custom communities and programming things in SourcePawn, which I've learned this year just to program plugins and fix bugs in others' plugins. Because this was indeed a stale year with an update drought, there was no worry about an update breaking the stuff you've coded or waiting until the next SourceMod version to drop. Nowadays I dropped my involvement with a major TF2 community and now I decided to try to get every achievement possible in TF2 (excluding the impossible ones) just for fun, and see how far that gets me.

You are extremely underestimating what effect a real, fast and good TF2 Comp mode akin Overwatch would have on the game, it's community, and its reputation and how amazing that would be, topping community comp by miles.
I just accepted a Steam 5 eur card gift from a friend and got market restricted for 3 days.
Is this a fucking joke, Steam?
Now I can't even buy shit I wanted for TF2 from market

How does it compare to Tf2outpost?
Where do people trade now anyways?

Mostly backpack.tf

Bazaar.tf is cooler, has cooler functions, and a creepy heavy face for "TF2 items in general", but its population is like 1 to 1,000 of Outpost's and has been since its inception, so it's bad.
Marketplace.tf is where I go to whenever I want items, as long as I have $1 in my paypal it's much cheaper and faster than TF2outpost. Geel did a good job of capturing what Traders want and almost got with TF2WH: Fast trades, especially for currency and generic cosmetics/weapon skins/stranges. It just needs an item-to-item function and I think it might unseat Tf2outpost after enough time.
i will miss trade.tf's bot leaving me messages when an update hits
