How about let's not give demoman even more weapons and instead focus on heavy
introducing the new grenade launcher that shoots bouncy balls
I wonder how long it'll take the officaltf2wiki youtube channel to make new weapon demonstration videos for every weapon because of inspect animations, rebalances, and new weapons.
Let's have another Uber Update where everyone gets like 4 weapons but half of them are shitty and the other half are overpowered.
So, how bout that dragon's fury eh? Overpowered? Underwhelming? ...useful? Anything?
So, how bout that dragon's fury eh? Overpowered? Underwhelming? ...useful? Anything?
Seems nicely balanced and a good sidegrade to the flamethrower.
Seems nicely balanced and a good sidegrade to the flamethrower.
Reddit seems to think otherwise last I read. Melting heavies. Shotting engineers.
why would the game tease me with this https://i.imgur.com/P5uFFH4.png?1 and instead give me this https://i.imgur.com/kJVKpL7.png why cant we just randomize the skins we get so there is an actual value to opening a crate
its the tf2 version of ice cream truck popsicles with the gumball eyes you see the packaging show it so perfectly and then [t]https://i.imgur.com/c7YV0si.jpg[/t]
Reddit seems to think otherwise last I read. Melting heavies. Shotting engineers.
It just needs to have a smaller hitbox to make it truly precision rewarding. Even that though doesn't seem like it's entirely needed.
So, how bout that dragon's fury eh? Overpowered? Underwhelming? ...useful? Anything?
one of the most balanced, most interesting, unique and skill based sidegrade in the game for years. sure it might seem really braindead and powerful in CQC, but all the power classes easily outdps pyro as always in there. let's see... - Doesn't rely on crits gimmick - Projectile is big but not big enough for the pyro to have to do nothing - Effect-on-hit adds some layer of depth where you are seriously punished for missing or hesitating - Projectile needs leading at near pipebomb-level when pitted against good players - Fireballs trigger damage knockback (<3) - No xd randumm crits - Shits on bad sentry spots - Great feeling and look that fits 100% in the base game. This weapon deserved to exist years ago. - Still puny and overshadowed by JI flame flailing - Gets hard-countered by airblast reflects ... you can't afford to not shoot so they know exactly when it's coming, for you to take back your 110 damage fireball in your face. - Airblast is NIGHTMARE MODE. Not only it's extremely slow but it's also unable to be used immediately after a primary attack (unlike flamers). Reflect kills with this thing are 100% deserved and incredible. - Fucking awesome range that does actually outdo flamers (people really underestimate its range, from either end) - Truly a skill-based weapon that pyro needed for years - Horribly medicore at spychecking, not only the first hit triggers super short afterburn but it's not easy tracking non-braindead spies with it. - Nailed on first try, pretty much does not require additional tweaks (please valve don't kill it) - Bonus points for being perfectly balanced for MvM aswell - Actually is coded well because it shoots faster on stuff like Horsemann, skeletons, tanks, etc. - the best part, bad pyros already went back to using flamers because it is very challenging to use. This gun is already losing a ton of popularity. :ok: i love this gun
Also it feels pretty good to just use, shooting a big flame cannon at your enemies that shoots faster when hitting them feels nice to use. Was going to say it sounds a tad weak tho, someone on fp said it sounded like a bicycle pump, don't think i've heard one of those. But I heard its shoot sound in the game files and it sounds fine besides the high pitched start. edit: Also they should fix how it can hit players behind you.
How about let's not give demoman even more weapons and instead focus on heavy
I'd be gone with more demo weapons if they were explosive and not melee weapon #2940. He only has 5 explosive unlocks, not counting the sticky jumper (or the caber).

Saw this video about DF techniques, including "putt and sweep" hitting two DF shots, and switching to the panic attack to finish enemies off.
shotgun or even reserve is better than panic in any situation. and try not to give attention to people trying to popularize "technique names". it is not a thing.
"Putt and sweep" sounds fucking stupid and isn't even onomatopoeic like puff and sting. 0/10
I wouldn't say sting is very onomatopoeic either.
Isn't the Neo Tokyo skin supposed to be team colored?
I wouldn't say sting is very onomatopoeic either.
Receiving a crit creates a very pitched and piercing noise. I think liking it to a sting is fitting enough.
Just fix the shitty rimlight parameters of the DF, please. And the "Pressure" meter.

Man i remember when TF2 was just vanilla with none of these weapons and hats and stuff. How many items can you equip to affect your game experience now anyway?
solokiller`og;53010731']Man i remember when TF2 was just vanilla with none of these weapons and hats and stuff. Including stock weapons I think there's around 150ish weapons split up over nine classes with several slots each. Few overtly change the way the classes are played against all that much, and the ones that do are often rather visually obvious (huntsman arrows, different uber visual effects) or are loudly announced in their use (the pyro jetpack, demo charging yells)
Man, the TF2 Wiki is still slow as hell. What is going on? It's been like that for weeks.
I've noticed that too
Guess I'm going to ask here then; Any chance we'll get another (even super small item schema) patch before new year? Lookin' at past patches is, well, impossible.
Literally 4 days before the new year and 3 of them are a weekend. No.
Forced myself to finish the Thermal Thruster contract to finally earn the glove and god damn. these two are so much fun.
Guess I'm going to ask here then; Any chance we'll get another (even super small item schema) patch before new year? They've probably got days off this week anyway. There's usually a bit of a lull in patches after Smissmass anyway, unless something needs to be urgently fixed asap. And I don't mean to sound too cynical, but I wish I shared your enthusiasm for the prospects of a minor patch after all these years, heh

Something like that would require a simple item schema change. I'm wondering if this exploit will continue to circulate the next few weeks or so or will get fixed earlier. And no, I'll not share it.
