http://www.mediafire.com/file/r9t25b16vcxe55y/HDTF_Unseen_Demo_Content_For_SFM.zip Here's all of the pre demo content I was able to scrounge up from when I was properly in contact with Berkan. Shh don't tell him. Also I can confirm the Father Grigori bossfight was planned. You were going to have to dodge his shots while waiting for help to arrive and relieve you. However is seems this was scrapped. A note on my role on the project, I was supposed to be a regular mapper for the project and help prep the demo (hence the e3 map title, Berkan wanted to release a trailer on e3's opening day in 2016). From what I've gathered from current and my fellow post devs: Berkan was intent on being the middle man between all the project contributors, and prevented communication between team members. For example, I had no idea Kawoofish was on the project until I discovered Berkan had parts of his maps in the trailers. I've been talking about it on Mac's streams with quite a few folks. We'll be cutting up the important parts later, probably.
Has anyone dived into this game with gcfScape yet? I bet a lot of the assets haven't even been renamed.
If someone buys me a copy I will literally tear this game apart.
Check your friend requests
Tyler's just singing the HL2 OST now. We've lost him.
Tyler has looked into the Abyss and now he's gone.
Tyler is dancing lmao
Tyler is dancing lmao
Did he actually beat the game? I didn't look.
The game crashed on him after he tried to skip a 15 minute long survival segment that was outright nonfunctional.
Did he actually beat the game? I didn't look.
yes
The game crashed on him after he tried to skip a 15 minute long survival segment that was outright nonfunctional.
Well atleast his suffering is over.
who the fuck thinks 15 minutes of long horde was good idea
I thought this game was about hunting down gordon freeman??
i fucking laughed so hard when he immediately went "I WIIIIIIIINN" after the game crashed from using timescale to skip the 15 minute holdout segment
who the fuck thinks 15 minutes of long horde was good idea
A dev trying to push the playtime over the two hour mark so its harder to get refunds.
Tyler just rebooted
hes pretending it was all a dream
I heard someone actually invested 50k for the expectation of full return, I feel very sorry for that guy.

No PDBs or anything too useful.
Those guys from VNN's discord don't know what they're talking about, then. Shame, this could've blown everything wide open...
this was the wild ride I lost 4/1 of the day for this shit game gameplay stream gg gonna kms
[t]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/111951182947258368/416805170945589258/unknown.png[/t] 32K TEXTURES
This is something I'd expect to see in Second Life
Those guys from VNN's discord don't know what they're talking about, then. Shame, this could've blown everything wide open...
There isn't really anything interesting to "blow open". There's a leak of the source code for the whole thing from ~2007 and they haven't changed too much interesting since other than modifying the networking and adding some graphical features.

Tyler's back to being serious and is absolutely shitting on the game now He did lowkey confirm Valve's working on more important shit than a dota card game.
This is so sad. I expected to share a laugh with Tyler on a mod that was so bad it was good, but the novelty of it wore off after about 15 minutes. After that, it manifested into a mod that's so bad, it stops being good and comes back around to being bad again. Tyler's frustration, exhaustion, and need for emotional support from this godforsaken mod just isn't entertaining anymore. You have to give credit to the creators where it's due, though: most terrible mods only strive to be so bad that they're entertaining in how campy and poorly thought out they are. Hunt Down the Freeman, on the other hand, strove to not even have that as a redeeming factor. It's an organically-conceived masterpiece.
This is the finest texture in the game: (full res) This 4k Overwatch Soldier texture has an alpha map (which is unused) and is saved in lossless RGBA8888 format, creating a texture size of 85 MB. There's also the model's normal map with alpha map also saved in lossless RGBA format and, seemingly by mistake, a duplicate of this normal map. Combined together, this means the Overwatch Soldier's three textures take up 256 MB.

If all of the textures of Half-Life 2 were the uncompressed original textures, the game would have been significantly larger in file size.
compressing normal map is a small dumb thing but not compressing other maps are just fucking dumb as fuck, I really hate people who just spamming 4k on everything that does not make things look good. Also, Source is allergic to real 4k textures, it can't fully utilize 4k textures without heavy edit of shaders.
